The SIGMA fp currently has the smallest and lightest housing of all full-frame cameras with interchangeable lens mount and is therefore ideal for taking with you wherever you go. The large sensor shows its strengths in all subject situations and delivers images and videos at the highest level. This makes the SIGMA fp the ideal linchpin in a high-performance L-mount lens system.

Variable - Versatile connection options
The SIGMA fp is extremely easy to connect and offers a versatile and highly compatible system for numerous lenses and accessories - both from SIGMA and other brands. This means that the world's smallest and lightest full-frame camera can be optimally adapted to practically any shooting situation.

Fluent - full-featured shooting functions with all the freedom
The SIGMA fp has a very intuitive, easy-to-understand and highly customizable user interface, including a specially developed operating system. The highlight is the smooth transition between photo and video recording. You can intuitively switch between modes with a single switch.

Robust and lightweight aluminum housing
The camera housing of the SIGMA fp is protected against dust and splash water in a total of 42 places. In combination with a dust and splash-proof lens, the SIGMA fp is able to work in rain, sandstorms and other challenging conditions.

Full-frame sensor
Equipped with a back-illuminated 35 mm full-frame Bayer sensor with 24.6 effective megapixels, the SIGMA fp is capable of capturing images in high resolution.

Screw thread for camera strap and tripod
The SIGMA fp is equipped with 1/4 inch threads for both the strap holder on both sides of the body and for a tripod. This offers greater freedom when using the camera in combination with a tripod.

High speed of F2.8 and outstanding image quality

The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary covers the focal length range between 27 and 75mm (equivalent to 35mm format) - and with a continuous aperture of F2.8. This makes it ideal for portrait and close-up shots where you want to crop the subject against a blurred background that does not distract from the subject in focus thanks to the attractive, soft bokeh.

With three high-precision, bright-pressed aspheres and a reduction in the total number of optical elements, the lens achieves outstanding image quality with low weight. The in-camera correction of optical disturbances also helps to eliminate aberrations such as distortion and vignetting. This performance is made possible by the advanced lens development technology at SIGMA's sole manufacturing facility in Aizu, Japan, where all SIGMA lenses are produced.
