The α7C incorporates the same AF optimizations as the acclaimed α9. In addition to 4D FOCUS for fast subject acquisition and stable tracking over a wide area, 693 AF phase detection points cover approximately 93% of the image area.

Never miss a moment, even in fast-paced scenes
To better capture subjects in motion, the α7C offers continuous shooting at up to 10 fps with AF/AE tracking and up to 8 fps in Live View mode. It also supports silent shooting at up to 10 fps with AF/AE tracking.

AI-based tracking and AF with real-time eye detection of Sony
For portraits, reliable subject tracking matters. As with previous models, you simply need to half-press the shutter button once you point the camera at your subject to start real-time eye-tracking AF. With the α7C, real-time tracking can be used without AF-C mode via the AF-ON button, so you can get started right away. The camera focuses reliably even when wearing glasses or when your face is partially obscured.

Remote shooting via mobile devices and PCs
