Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DI LD Macro Canon AF

Lightweight, compact, high-performance telephoto zoom lens with macro 1:2 function (Macro function can also be used with digital cameras). This Di-generation lens uses an optical system that can be used with digital SLR cameras as well as analog cameras.
A 'macro switchover' mechanism in the focal length range of 180-300mm allows a close focus distance of 0.95m. At the maximum magnification of 1:2, objects of a size of approx. 5x7cm can be imaged in a format-filling manner, which makes it possible to photograph flowers, insects and the like. In addition, the lens guarantees ultimate telephoto fun with its 300mm focal length.

The ultrazoom offers a focal length of up to 465mm equivalent when using a digital SLR camera, while the initial focal length of 70mm on an analog camera is interesting for portraiture and medium-distance shooting.

The external appearance has been improved by an additional gold-colored band between the focusing ring and Zoomring. This band visibly highlights the di lens. The structure of the rubber coating on the Zoom and focusing rings has been revised at the same time to adapt the lens in design to digital cameras and to improve handling.
