This tele-Zoom by Tamron is the evolution of the SP 150-600mm (A011) from 2013, and thanks to some improvements, you get a top-notch optic. The optics consists of 21 elements in 13 groups incl. three LD elements that almost completely eliminate chromatic aberrations.

Reflections are prevented by special coatings. This eliminates unwanted stray light and effectively prevents ghost images. The closest focusing distance has been improved compared to its predecessor, reducing it to 2.2 meters. The USD motor operates very quietly and quickly, so that even distant and fast-moving subjects can be captured precisely. The optical image stabilization compensates for camera shake and produces sharp images.

For outdoor use, the lens is protected from dust and splashing water thanks to special fluorine coating. With the Flex Zoom Lock mechanism, the Zoom can be locked in any position. By simply sliding the Zoomring, this prevents unintentional Zooming.
