Its shape was inspired by the cameras in the EOS-1D X series. However, it is smaller and lighter and uses the design principles of the EOS R mirrorless system for superior handling.

The camera offers diverse controls, with both the Multi-Controller and Smart Controller within intuitive thumb reach. Three configurable dials on the camera, as well as the lens control ring on an RF lens, make it easy to set shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and exposure compensation without taking the camera from your eye.
