The Canon lens simulator shows impressively, how focal length and aperture of a lens change a photo.
Canon Lens Simulator (German)With the mirrorless Canon EOS R50, which combines a lightweight, compact body with a large 24.2 MP APS-C sensor, you can enhance all your content and generate plenty of likes. The Canon EOS R50 is the ideal companion for anyone with creativity in their blood. Available as a set incl. Sigma 18-50mm lens.
Combining a lightweight, compact body with a large 24.2MP APS-C sensor, this EOS R series mirrorless camera lets you enhance your content with professional-looking photos and videos
. AThe compact and lightweight Canon EOS R50 has been specially developed for active content creators.
It featuresa rotating and tilting touchscreen display, an electronic viewfinder and a grip that sits comfortably in the hand.
Thanks to the high-resolution APS-C sensor with 24.2 megapixels, razor-sharp details and an attractive background blur can be captured - for real portraits without any digital trickery. The camera also enables continuous shooting at up to 12 fps [1] with electronic shutter to 1st curtain.
Whether you're shooting still or moving people, animals or vehicles, the EOS R50 intuitively recognizes and tracks the subject with Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus II
.With 4K [2] UHD 30p video on oversampling of 6K sensor data, you can capture superbly detailed images. You can get creative with editing and cropping while still delivering Full HD quality.
Thanks to the large 24.2 megapixel APS-C sensor, you can rely on impressive results and capture your passion in first-class quality
.You can record first-class 4K[2] UHD 30p videos from oversampling the 6K sensor data - for up to an hour [3]. The camera also enables Full HD video recording at 120p.
the high-resolution OLED EVF with 2.36 million pixels, you have a reliable view of your subject without any distractions
.The powerful DIGIC X image processor offers you completely new possibilities: with fast processing speeds and scene recognition AF
.The rotatable and tiltable display gives you the freedom to shoot from any angle - from below, from above or with the lens pointed at yourself
.The permanent Bluetooth [4] pairing with WLAN (Wi-Fi) [5] enables connection to a mobile device, automatic image transfer and remote control of the camera.
The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary covers the focal length range between 27 and 75mm (equivalent to 35mm format) - and with a continuous lens speed of F2.8. This makes it ideal for portraits and close-ups where you want to crop the subject against a blurred background that does not distract from the sharp subject due to the attractive, soft bokeh
.With three high-precision, bright-pressed aspherical lenses and a reduction in the total number of optical elements, the lens achieves outstanding image quality with a low weight. The in-camera correction of optical disturbances also helps to eliminate imaging errors such as distortion and vignetting. This performance is made possible by the advanced lens development technology at SIGMA's sole manufacturing facility in Aizu, Japan, where all SIGMA lenses are produced.
The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary is remarkably light and compact, making it the perfect match for APS-C mirrorless cameras. It is the perfect standard zoom, ideal for everyday use and suitable for a wide range of shooting situations. The lens has a maximum diameter of 69.2mm, a length of 74.5mm and a weight of 300g, while maintaining a constant aperture of F2.8
.To keep the weight down, SIGMA has constructed the lens from specially selected materials. The lens barrel is made of the polycarbonate TSC (Thermally-Stable-Composite), which is slim and robust and, above all, has a thermal conductivity similar to that of aluminum. This ensures high reliability and smooth operation in changing temperatures. SIGMA deliberately opted for metal for some of the internal components, as these parts require less material with greater strength. The lens is therefore designed to withstand even intensive use.
The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary has a fast and almost silent autofocus, which makes it suitable for a wide range of photographic applications, including shooting in quiet environments and taking videos and photos that require fast focus tracking. This is achieved by using a stepper motor to drive the focus. As the lens is small and lightweight, it can be used very flexibly in situations that require high mobility, or when shooting from hard-to-reach shooting positions, gimbal shots, one-man video recordings and vlogging.
Thelens was developed with a wide range of applications in mind, so SIGMA has chosen a design with a closest focusing distance of 12.1cm and a maximum magnification of 1:2.8**, which makes it ideal for close-up photography
.The 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary, which combines compact dimensions, low weight, high performance and high speed, can handle a wide range of tasks, primarily with entry-level mirrorless models in both photography and video recording, but also with full-frame cameras
.**The specifications for magnification and closest focusing distance apply to the shortest focal length
.Users of the Canon RF mount system can now also use high-performance Sigma
A control algorithm that optimizes the AF drive and communication speed has been specially developed for the Canon RF Mount
.
In addition to high-speed AF, the lens also supports continuous autofocus (Servo AF) and in-camera aberration correction*. The bayonet of the lens is fitted with a rubber lip to prevent the ingress of dust and moisture
*Only in combination with compatible cameras
