Fujifilm X-M5 Body black
The Fujifilm X-M5 mirrorless system camera extends the X series, which is known for its compact and lightweight design, outstanding image quality and unique color reproduction.
The X-M5 is suitable for beginners and advanced photo enthusiasts alike. Its high-quality, classic design is typical of the X series. The camera weighs only 355 grams *1, making it the lightest *2 model in the X series. It offers advanced features such as AI-assisted autofocus to detect dynamic objects like animals and cars, as well as 6.2K/30p video recording and 4:2:2 10-bit color depth.
Equipped with the 26.1 megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor*3 and the fast X Processor 5, it delivers outstanding image quality. A selection dial on the top allows you to quickly switch between different digital film simulations to give photos and videos a popular analog look. A digital image stabilizer and powerful microphones guarantee high-quality moving image recordings. The new 9:16 short film mode makes it easier to shoot vertical videos in vlog mode.
Compact and lightweight
The Fujifilm X-M5 weighs only around 355 grams and measures 111.9 mm wide, 66.6 mm high and 38.0 mm deep. It's fun to have such a light and handy mirrorless digital camera to hand at all times.
The compact camera has a high-quality finish and thus joins the model range of the X series. Symmetrically arranged control dials on the top emphasize the aesthetic appearance, while
the film simulation dial on the top left can be used to switch between a total of 20 digital film simulations depending on the subject and scene. This makes it easy to use a variety of attractive analog looks when photographing and filming.
The mode dial is located at the top right. AUTO mode is ideal for beginners to sophisticated photography. When it is activated, the camera recognizes the respective scene and automatically selects a suitable shooting mode.
High image quality and fast autofocus
The X-M5 has an X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with 26.1 megapixels and rear exposure as well as the latest high-speed image processor X-Processor 5.
In addition to the existing face and eye autofocus, the camera offers a scene recognition autofocus based on deep learning technology. The camera uses artificial intelligence to recognize animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, trains, insects and drones.*4
The new AF algorithm enables better prediction of object movements. The camera thus offers precise tracking of dynamic objects and accurate autofocus even with low-contrast subjects.
High-resolution videos
The X-M5 can record high-resolution 6.2K videos at 30 frames per second and 4:2:2 10-bit color quality directly onto the inserted SD card. It supports many other video modes such as 4K recording at 60 frames per second for a smoother presentation of dynamic scenes or Full HD slow motion at 240 frames per second.
The camera is equipped with powerful digital image stabilization. It not only compensates for slight camera shake, but also for strong movements, such as those caused by walking while filming
. The X-M5 is the first camera in the X series to have three built-in microphones. You can choose between four directional characteristic options: Surround, Front, Rear and Front & Rear. The camera is also the first to feature acoustic noise reduction, which filters out annoying continuous noise during recording - for example the background noise caused by air conditioning.
Vlog mode allows users to intuitively change the recording conditions via the LCD touchscreen. Improved icons and their optimized arrangement make video recording even easier. The new 9:16 short film mode makes it easier than ever to record high-quality vertical videos for social media.
8 Mbps and 25 Mbps bit rates can now also be selected in the media recording settings to speed up the transfer of videos to mobile devices and uploading to social media platforms.

High speed of F2.8 and outstanding image quality
The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary covers the focal length range between 27 and 75mm (equivalent to 35mm format) - and with a continuous lens speed of F2.8. This makes it ideal for portraits and close-ups where you want to crop the subject against a blurred background that does not distract from the sharp subject due to the attractive, soft bokeh
. With three high-precision, bright-pressed aspherical lenses and a reduction in the total number of optical elements, the lens achieves outstanding image quality with a low weight. The in-camera correction of optical disturbances also helps to eliminate aberrations such as distortion and vignetting. This performance is made possible by the advanced lens development technology at SIGMA's sole manufacturing facility in Aizu, Japan, where all SIGMA lenses are produced.
Exceptionally light and compact - ideal for mirrorless cameras
The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary is remarkably light and compact, making it the perfect complement to APS-C mirrorless cameras. It is the perfect standard zoom, ideal for everyday use and suitable for a wide range of shooting situations. The lens has a maximum diameter of 61.6mm, a length of 76.8mm and a weight of 285g, while maintaining a constant aperture of F2.8.
To keep the weight down, SIGMA has constructed the lens from specially selected materials. The lens barrel is made of the polycarbonate TSC (Thermally-Stable-Composite), which is slim and robust and, above all, has a thermal conductivity similar to that of aluminum. This ensures high reliability and smooth operation in changing temperatures. SIGMA deliberately opted for metal for some of the internal components, as these parts require less material with greater strength. The lens is therefore designed to withstand even intensive use.
Suitable for a wide range of shooting situations
The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary has a fast and almost silent autofocus, which makes it suitable for a wide range of photographic applications, including shooting in quiet environments and taking videos and photos that require fast focus tracking. This is achieved by using a stepper motor to drive the focus. As the lens is small and lightweight, it can be used very flexibly in situations that require high mobility, or when shooting from hard-to-reach shooting positions, gimbal shots, one-man video recordings and vlogging.
The lens was developed with a wide range of applications in mind, so SIGMA has chosen a design with a closest focusing distance of 12.1cm and a maximum magnification of 1:2.8**, which makes it ideal for close-up photography.
The 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary, which combines compact dimensions, low weight, high performance and high speed, can handle a wide range of tasks, primarily with mirrorless entry-level models in both photography and video recording, but also with full-frame cameras.
**The information on magnification and closest focusing distance applies to the shortest focal length.
