High image quality and fast autofocus
The X-M5 has an X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with 26.1 megapixels and rear exposure as well as the latest high-speed image processor X-Processor 5.
In addition to the existing face and eye autofocus, the camera offers a scene recognition autofocus based on deep learning technology. The camera uses artificial intelligence to recognize animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, trains, insects and drones.*4
The new AF algorithm enables better prediction of object movements. The camera thus offers precise tracking of dynamic objects and accurate autofocus even with low-contrast subjects.
High-resolution videos
The X-M5 can record high-resolution 6.2K videos at 30 frames per second and 4:2:2 10-bit color quality directly onto the inserted SD card. It supports many other video modes such as 4K recording at 60 frames per second for a smoother presentation of dynamic scenes or Full HD slow motion at 240 frames per second.
The camera is equipped with powerful digital image stabilization. It not only compensates for slight camera shake, but also for strong movements, such as those caused by walking while filming
. The X-M5 is the first camera in the X series to have three built-in microphones. You can choose between four directional characteristic options: Surround, Front, Rear and Front & Rear. The camera is also the first to feature acoustic noise reduction, which filters out annoying continuous noise during recording - for example the background noise caused by air conditioning.
Vlog mode allows users to intuitively change the recording conditions via the LCD touch screen. Improved icons and their optimized arrangement make video recording even easier. The new 9:16 short movie mode makes it easier than ever to capture high-quality vertical videos for social media, while
the media recording settings now also allow users to select 8 Mbps and 25 Mbps bit rates to speed up the transfer of videos to mobile devices and uploading to social media platforms.
Fujinon XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ
The Fujinon XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ covers the popular focal length range from 23mm to 69mm (equivalent to 35mm format) and is the smallest and lightest interchangeable zoom lens for the X series. Together with a compact Fujifilm mirrorless digital camera, this handy lens is an ideal companion for all occasions.
Small and lightweight interchangeable Zoom for mirrorless X cameras
The construction of ten lenses in nine groups, including three aspherical elements and two ED lenses, delivers outstanding resolution in all Zoom positions. The lens is only 44.2 mm long and weighs just 135 g.
Covers the most frequently used focal lengths
This innovative lens covers the frequently used focal length range from 23 mm to 69 mm (converted to 35 mm format) and is therefore suitable for both landscape and portrait photography. The short wide-angle end corresponds to 23 mm. This makes the lens suitable for selfies with several people or an expansive background - ideally on a camera that has a 180° swivel LCD screen.
Close-ups with a subject distance of only 5 cm from the lens
At the short end, the lens enables subjects to be photographed that are only around 5 cm away from the front edge of the lens. This corresponds to a reproduction scale of approx. 1:4 (0.24x). It is therefore also ideal for close-ups of food, flowers or small accessories.
Electric Zoom and simple operation
The development of this small, collapsible lens was facilitated by the use of an electric Zoom mechanism. When the camera is switched on, the lens automatically extends and is ready to shoot. Two different Zoom speeds can be selected when turning the Zoom ring. The lens then zooms at a constant speed, ensuring smooth and even movement when recording video.
Optical image stabilization
The built-in optical image stabilizer provides 3 stops of additional shake compensation according to CIPA guidelines, which is useful when shooting in low light conditions.
Fast and quiet autofocus
The AF system with internal focusing uses a stepper motor that drives small and lightweight focusing elements for fast and quiet autofocus.

Fujifilm XF70-300mm f4-5.6 R LM OIS WR
The Fujinon XF70-300mm F4-5.6 R LM OIS WR offers a focal length range of 70 to 300 mm (equivalent to 107 to 457 mm Lens Focal Length) to capture distant or small objects in full frame. A fast autofocus motor, a 5.5-stop optical image stabilizer and a weather-sealed body ensure perfect shots in a variety of photographic situations.
With the Fujinon XF1.4X TC WR and Fujinon XF2X TC WR teleconverters, the range of the new telephoto Zoom lens can be extended up to 600 mm (equivalent to 914 mm KB). Even distant subjects appear very close and can be photographed in close-up
. Large Zoom range in a handy body
The XF70-300mm F4-5.6 is the ideal choice for photographing subjects from a great distance. People or animals can be brought into the picture from a great distance. This enables brilliant images to be taken in many everyday and memorable moments. The optical design comprises 17 elements in 12 groups, including an aspherical lens and two ED elements to minimize optical aberrations
. Despite the large focal length range and high image quality, the Tele-Zoom lens is surprisingly compact and lightweight with a length of 132.5 mm, a diameter of 75 mm and a weight of just 580 grams. The Tele-Zoom XF70-300mm F4-5.6 is therefore the ideal complement to the standard Zoom XF16-80mm F4 R OIS WR. Together, the two handy lenses offer a comprehensive Zoom range from 24 mm to 457 mm (equivalent to KB), but are considerably lighter and more compact than corresponding 35 mm lenses.
Compatible with 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters
The Zoom range of the XF70-300mm F4-5.6 can be extended by 1.4x and 2.0x respectively with the Fujinon XF1.4X TC WR and Fujinon XF2X TC WR teleconverters, without reducing the performance of the phase AF. The longest possible focal length is therefore 630 mm or 914 mm (equivalent to KB).
Image stabilization over 5.5 EV stops
The optical image stabilizer (OIS) of the XF70-300mm F4-5.6 enables sharp hand-held shots even at long focal lengths and in low light. This effectively compensates for camera shake caused by slower shutter speeds over 5.5 EV stops.
When the lens is used on cameras with integrated five-axis image stabilization (IBIS), such as the Fujifilm X-T4 or Fujifilm X-S10, even greater stabilization is achieved. The combination of both systems not only compensates for typical camera shake that occurs during photography, but also for linear shifts that occur when the camera is pulled along or panned.
Fast and quiet autofocus
The autofocus of the XF70-300mm F4-5.6 is based on a fast and quiet linear motor, which harmonizes perfectly with the advanced AF system of the X series cameras.
Impressive close-ups
With a close-up distance of just 83 cm, the XF70-300mm F4-5.6 produces impressive close-ups with a reproduction scale of 1:2 (equivalent to KB). In relation to the APS-C format, a magnification of 0.33x is achieved. The Zoom lens is therefore ideal for taking full-frame pictures of smaller objects such as flower blossoms. In conjunction with the XF2X TC WR teleconverter, the magnification is doubled to 0.66x, enabling macro shots with a reproduction scale of 1:1 (equivalent to KB).
Weatherproof design
Ten seals protect the interior from moisture and dust and ensure that the lens can also be used in icy temperatures down to minus 10 degrees Celsius.
