Fujifilm X-S20
The Fujifilm X-S20 presents itself as a handy and innovative system camera with AI-based autofocus, remarkable 6.2K video and a particularly powerful battery. It is part of Fujifilm's renowned X series, known for its compact cameras and outstanding color reproduction.
The X-S20: The perfect camera for on-the-go
The X-S20 combines impressive image quality with unbeatable portability
.
Weighing just 491 grams (*1), it's the ideal travel companion. Whether it's spontaneous self-portraits or demanding photo and video shoots, this camera can do it all. Compared to its predecessor (*2), it has twice the battery life.
Youcan take around 800 shots (*3) on a full charge, and the
compact camera is packed with advanced features
.
These include a high-resolution 26.1-megapixel X Trans CMOS 4 sensor (*4), the fast X Processor 5, and five-axis image stabilization with a range of 7.0 EV steps (*5). The innovative Scene Recognition autofocus, already used in the top-of-the-line FUJIFILM X-T5, uses artificial intelligence to automatically detect various subjects such as animals and cars, and a
standout feature of the camera is its new Vlog mode
. Combinedwith the TG-BT1 handheld tripod and the option to connect an external microphone, this mode enables optimal conditions for first-class video recording.
First-class image quality
The X-S20 features a 26.1-megapixel X Trans CMOS 4 sensor with rear exposure and the powerful X Processor 5. This combination ensures high image quality and low power consumption, even lower than the previous model.
In AUTO mode, the camera not only automatically selects the appropriate setting for the scene, but also independently detects and tracks the main subject. This keeps the focus perfectly on the subject even in dynamic scenes, making it easier to shoot photos and videos in demanding situations. The
X-S20 offers a total of 19 film simulations that give subjects a particularly stylish look, similar to using analog film
. Among thechoices is the "Nostalgic Neg." mode, which offers high saturation and soft tonality.
Artificial Intelligence Autofocus
The camera's autofocus is based on artificial intelligence and uses a subject detection algorithm developed using Deep Learning technology. This algorithm automatically detects and tracks faces, eyes, and a variety of subjects such as animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects, and drones (*6). With an advanced AF algorithm that calculates subject movement in advance, autofocus enables precise focusing with continuous autofocus (AF-C). This allows the photographer to fully concentrate on the moment of capture and composition of the image.
Convenient Handling
The X-S20 is extremely compact, weighing only 491 grams
.
It features a large handgrip that allows for a stable and comfortable camera posture.
Improved
battery
life
The high-performance NP-W235 battery can shoot around 800 photos, about twice as many as the previous model. The long battery life makes the X-S20 the ideal camera for photo tours and travel.
Effective image stabilization
Internal five-axis image stabilization (IBIS) compensates for unwanted camera movement and provides up to seven EV stops of sharpness improvement
.
Even at night, at dusk, or in other low-light situations, photos can be taken hands-free. The
X-S20 is equipped with a remarkably clear and sharp viewfinder image that has 2.36 million pixels and a magnification of 0.62x. Its rear touchscreen can be swiveled and rotated sideways, which also makes it easy to take self-portraits. In addition, the camera is compatible with the TG-BT1 tripod grip, which is specifically designed for vlog content production.
Videos in 6.2K/30p
The X-S20 allows you to record videos in impressive 6.2K/30p resolution in 4:2:2 10-bit format. It also supports advanced video formats such as 4K/60p and 1080/240p. With F-Log2 recording mode, videographers can take advantage of an expanded dynamic range of over 13 stops to further realize their creative potential in video editing.
Additionally, the camera offers the ability to record 12-bit RAW video files using a compatible Atomos external HDMI recorder
.
These can then be saved as Apple ProRes RAW (*7) at a resolution of 6.2K or lower and at frame rates of up to 29.97 frames per second.
Furthermore, raw video can be saved as Blackmagic RAW when used with Blackmagic Design Video Assist 12G series monitor recorders. This allows for a quality of up to 6.2K and a frame rate of 29.97 frames per second.
The camera is extremely compact, yet offers two 3.5mm jacks for connecting an external microphone and headphones. In addition, it features a new Vlog mode designed specifically for selfies, which can be easily activated via the top dial, and the
X-S20 offers the ability to use it as a webcam without having to install additional software. All that is needed is a USB-C cable to connect the camera to a computer (*8), and
movie simulations can even be applied to the transmitted image during streaming or an online conference. Furthermore, it is possible to adjust the camera settings even during an ongoing connection to the computer.

Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 DC DN © for Fuji X
High speed of F2.8 and superior image quality
The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary covers the focal length range between 27 and 75mm (equivalent to 35mm format) - and it does so with a consistent F2.8 aperture, making it ideal when you want to crop the subject for portraits and close-ups against a blurred background that won't distract from the subject in focus due to the attractive, soft bokeh
.With three high-precision, bright-molded aspheres and a reduction in the number of optical elements overall, the lens achieves superior image quality at a low weight. In-camera optical noise correction further helps eliminate aberrations such as distortion and vignetting. This performance is made possible by advanced lens development technology at SIGMA's sole manufacturing facility in Aizu, Japan, where all SIGMA lenses are produced
.Exceptionally lightweight and compact - ideal for mirrorless cameras
The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary is remarkably lightweight and compact, making it the perfect match for mirrorless APS-C cameras. It is the perfect standard zoom, ideal for everyday use and up to a wide range of shooting situations. The lens is currently the smallest and lightest in its class*, with a maximum diameter of 65.4mm, a length of 74.5mm and a weight of 290g*, while maintaining a constant aperture of F2.8.
To keep the weight down, SIGMA has constructed the lens using specially selected materials. The lens barrel is made of TSC (Thermally-Stable-Composite) polycarbonate, which is slim and robust and, most importantly, has a thermal conductivity similar to that of aluminum. This ensures high reliability and smooth operation under changing temperatures. For some internal components, SIGMA made a conscious decision to use metal, as these parts require less material while providing greater strength.
As a
result, the lens is designed to withstand more intensive use

.Suitable for a wide range of shooting situations.
The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary has a fast and nearly silent autofocus that makes it recommended for a wide range of photographic applications, including shooting in quiet environments and capturing video and photos that require fast focus tracking. This is achieved by using a stepper motor to drive the focus. Because the lens is small and lightweight, it can be used very flexibly in situations that require high mobility, or when shooting from hard-to-reach shooting positions, gimbal shooting, one-man video recording, and vlogging.
With a focus on versatility, SIGMA has chosen a design with a closest focusing distance of 12.1cm and a maximum magnification of f/2.8**, making it ideal for close-up
