Effective image stabilization
Internal five-axis image stabilization (IBIS) compensates for unwanted camera movement and provides up to seven EV stops of sharpness improvement
.
Even at night, at dusk, or in other low-light situations, photos can be taken hands-free. The
X-S20 is equipped with a remarkably clear and sharp viewfinder image that has 2.36 million pixels and a magnification of 0.62x. Its rear touchscreen can be swiveled and rotated sideways, which also makes it easy to take self-portraits. In addition, the camera is compatible with the TG-BT1 tripod grip, which is specifically designed for vlog content production.
Videos in 6.2K/30p
The X-S20 allows you to record videos in impressive 6.2K/30p resolution in 4:2:2 10-bit format. It also supports advanced video formats such as 4K/60p and 1080/240p. With F-Log2 recording mode, videographers can take advantage of an expanded dynamic range of over 13 stops to further realize their creative potential in video editing.
Additionally, the camera offers the ability to record 12-bit RAW video files using a compatible Atomos external HDMI recorder
.
These can then be saved as Apple ProRes RAW (*7) at a resolution of 6.2K or lower and at frame rates of up to 29.97 frames per second.
Furthermore, raw video can be saved as Blackmagic RAW when used with Blackmagic Design Video Assist 12G series monitor recorders. This allows for a quality of up to 6.2K and a frame rate of 29.97 frames per second.
The camera is extremely compact, yet offers two 3.5mm jacks for connecting an external microphone and headphones. In addition, it features a new Vlog mode designed specifically for selfies, which can be easily activated via the top dial, and the
X-S20 offers the ability to use it as a webcam without having to install additional software. All that is needed is a USB-C cable to connect the camera to a computer (*8), and
movie simulations can even be applied to the transmitted image during streaming or an online conference. Furthermore, it is possible to adjust the camera settings even during an ongoing connection to the computer.

Fujinon XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ
The Fujinon XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 achieves high-resolution images with a compact size of just 44.2mm and a light weight of 135g. The optical design includes 10 lenses in 9 groups, including three aspherical lenses and two ED lenses. It covers a focal length from a wide-angle of 23mm to a medium telephoto of 69mm (equivalent to 35mm), making it the ideal lens for landscape and portrait photography.
Fujifilm XF70-300mm f4-5.6 R LM OIS WR
The Fujinon XF70-300mm F4-5.6 R LM OIS WR offers a focal length range of 70 to 300mm (equivalent to 107 to 457mm KB) to capture full-frame images of distant or small subjects. A fast autofocus motor, 5.5-step optical image stabilizer, and weather-resistant body ensure perfect shots in a wide range of photographic situations, and the
Fujinon XF1.4X TC WR and Fujinon XF2X TC WR teleconverters extend the range of the new tele-Zoom lens to 600 mm (equivalent to 914 mm KB)
.
Even distant subjects look very close and can be photographed in close-up.
Wide Zoom range in a handy body
The XF70-300mm F4-5.6 is the ideal choice for photographing subjects from a long distance. People or animals can be brought into the picture in a big way, even from a long distance. This makes it possible to take brilliant pictures in many everyday and memorable moments. The optical design features 17 elements in 12 groups, including an aspherical lens and two ED elements to minimize optical aberrations.
Despite its wide focal length range and high image quality, the Tele-Zoom lens is surprisingly compact and lightweight, measuring 132.5 mm in length, 75 mm in diameter, and weighing just 580 grams. The Tele-Zoom XF70-300mm F4-5.6 is thus the ideal complement to the standard Zoom XF16-80mm F4 R OIS WR. Together, the two handy lenses offer a comprehensive Zoom range of 24mm to 457mm (equivalent to KB), but are much lighter and more compact than equivalent 35mm lenses.
Compatible with 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters
The Zoomrange of the XF70-300mm F4-5.6 can be extended by 1.4x and 2.0x, respectively, with the Fujinon XF1.4X TC WR and Fujinon XF2X TC WR teleconverters without reducing the performance of phase AF. The longest possible focal lengths are thus 630 mm and 914 mm (equivalent to KB), respectively. The speed is reduced accordingly by 1.4 or 2.0 stops.
Image stabilization over 5.5 EV stops
The Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) of the XF70-300mm F4-5.6 enables sharp freehand shots even at long focal lengths and in low light. This effectively compensates for camera shake caused by slow shutter speeds over 5.5 EV stops, and
when the lens is used on cameras with built-in five-axis image stabilization (IBIS), such as the Fujifilm X-T4 or Fujifilm X-S10, even further stabilization is achieved
.
The combination of the two systems compensates not only for typical camera shake that occurs during shooting, but also for linear shifts such as those that occur when the camera is pulled along or panned.
Fast and quiet autofocus
The autofocus of the XF70-300mm F4-5.6 is based on a fast and quiet linear motor that works in perfect harmony with the advanced AF system of the X series cameras.
Impressive close-ups
With a close-up distance of just 83 cm, the XF70-300mm F4-5.6 captures impressive close-ups at a magnification of 1:2 (equivalent to KB)
.
In relation to the APS-C format, a magnification of 0.33x is achieved. This makes the Zoom lens ideal for capturing full-frame images of smaller objects, such as flower blossoms. When used with the XF2X TC WR teleconverter, magnification doubles to 0.66x, allowing macro photography at 1:1 (equivalent to KB).
Weatherproof design
Ten seals protect the interior from moisture and dust, ensuring that the lens can be used in freezing temperatures down to minus 10 degrees Celsius.
