Fujifilm X-T5
The FUJIFILM X-T5 offers photographers a perfect total package: It features fifth-generation imaging technology - the rear-illuminated 40.2-megapixel X-Trans*1 CMOS 5 HR sensor and fast X-Processor 5 - and offers built-in five-axis image stabilization over up to seven stops (EV)*2. Despite its tremendous performance, it is smaller and also lighter than its predecessor, weighing just 557 grams.*3
Like previous models in the X-T line, the X-T5 features a center-mounted electronic viewfinder and several large command dials. Inside, it offers a host of technical innovations, including a standard sensitivity of ISO 125, a fastest shutter speed of 1/180,000 sec, the "Pixel Shift Multi-Shot" function, and subject detection autofocus based on Deep Learning technology that identifies and tracks various subjects (such as animals or vehicles).
Videos are recorded by the X-T5 in up to 6.2K/30p quality. The high-resolution foldable touchscreen monitor and dual memory card slot round out the new camera's features.
TheX-T5 is the ideal tool for demanding photographers who travel a lot and don't want to compromise on image quality. It is as handy as it is versatile and is ideal for fast reportage and street photography as well as for high-quality landscape and portrait photography.
High-resolution X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor and X-Processor 5
TheX-T5 is equipped with a rear-exposed 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor that delivers very high resolution without distracting image noise, resulting in overall brilliant image quality
.An advanced pixel structure results in a greater amount of light on the sensor, so ISO 125 is now available as the standard sensitivity and no longer needs to be selected over the extended ISO range
.The new sensor can also be driven with extreme precision, allowing ultra-short exposure times. For example, the fastest shutter speed of the electronic shutter has been increased by 2.5 EV steps from 1/32,000 sec. to now 1/180,000 sec.
Especially when shooting in bright environments, the new sensor opens up new creative possibilities. For example, on sunny summer days or on the ski slopes, you can achieve the attractive bokeh effect with the aperture open or freeze fast movements in maximum sharpness with ultra-short shutter speeds.
Innovative photo features
With the "Pixel Shift Multi-Shot" function, the camera takes 20 high-resolution images in succession in raw data format, with the image sensor being shifted minimally after each exposure. The resulting individual photos can be combined into a single image file with a resolution of 160 megapixels using the free "Pixel Shift Combiner" software. This function is particularly interesting for photographic documentation and digitization in the fields of art and culture, as well as for high-quality still life and product shots.
The camera has the "Skin Effect Soft" function for a particularly attractive reproduction of skin tones. Post-processing time for portrait shots is significantly reduced, so high-quality image results are available faster than ever.
TheX-T5 is equipped with automatic white balance based on Deep Learning technology. The camera more accurately detects different light sources (such as incandescent lamps) and adjusts the white balance accordingly.
The X-T5 offers 19 film simulations, including "Nostalgic Negative" for high color saturation and smooth tonal gradations. It supports the HEIF image format, which delivers 10-bit image files that are up to 30 percent smaller than standard JPEG files. With the inclusion of this feature, FUJIFILM underscores its reputation for delivering the very highest quality images directly from X Series cameras.
Built-in image stabilizer and intelligent autofocus
In-camera five-axis image stabilization (IBIS) compensates for camera movement over up to seven stops (EV)*2. Even at night, at dusk, or in other low-light situations, freehand shooting is possible. The IBIS mechanism also enables the "Pixel Shift Multi-Shot" function via high-precision shifting of the image sensor.
TheX-T5 is equipped with an innovative autofocus system that allows the person taking the picture to concentrate fully on the subject and composition. She can trust the camera to focus reliably and precisely on the subject. For example, the X-T5's autofocus system offers object-oriented subject recognition based on artificial intelligence. Developed using Deep Learning technology, the algorithm not only detects and tracks people's faces and eyes, but also reliably keeps animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes and trains in focus.
The 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR has more phase-detection pixels than previous X series image sensors, resulting in even more precise focusing in AF-S mode, for example in landscape or portrait photography. A new AF algorithm for predicting object movement enables even more reliable focus tracking in continuous focus (AF-C).
Convenient operation
On the top of the X-T5, there are three dials for shutter speed, ISO sensitivity and exposure compensation. Like the aperture ring on many XF lenses, they allow control of key exposure parameters even when the camera is off. The X-T5 thus becomes the ideal tool for transferring one's creative intuition directly into the image production process.
The new LCD monitor offers a resolution of 1.84 million pixels and can be swiveled in three directions. When shooting from the hip or overhead, for example, the display remains in the optical axis and is always easy to read, allowing comfortable and unrestricted work even in demanding shooting situations.
The X-T5's electronic viewfinder offers a high-resolution viewfinder image with 3.69 million pixels and 0.8x magnification. The display is optimally corrected and free of parallax errors and distortion that otherwise often appear with changes in eye position.
The advancement of the IBIS mechanism, electronic viewfinder and other components allows for a compact and lightweight design. Despite its performance, the camera weighs just 557 grams*4. In addition, handling has been optimized and the operability of the dials and buttons has been improved. The weatherproof housing can be used without hesitation even in humid and dirty environments.
Advanced video functions
The X-T5 records video in 6.2K/30p 4:2:2 10-bit format. In 4K HQ mode, the camera draws on the detail of the 6.2K data during internal oversampling to generate a 4K image of superior quality. The X-T5 supports F-Log2, which provides an expanded dynamic range of more than 13 stops, offering further creative potential in video editing.
In combination with a compatible Atomos external HDMI recorder, 12-bit RAW video files can also be recorded and saved as Apple ProRes RAW*5 in 6.2K and at frame rates up to 29.97 frames per second. When used with Blackmagic Design Video Assist 12G Series monitor recorders, raw video can be saved as Blackmagic RAW at up to 6.2K quality and 29.97 frames per second.

Fujifilm XF 18-120mm f4 LM PZ WR
With the FUJINON XF18-120mmF4 LM PZ WR, FUJIFILM presents a universal power Zoom lens for X series mirrorless system cameras. The new lens, which is excellent for both still and video shooting, joins the camera system that has won many awards for its outstanding image quality and compact design, and is also known for its unmatched FUJIFILM color reproduction.
The XF18-120mmF4 LM PZ WR covers the focal length range from 18mm wide-angle to 120mm telephoto (equivalent to 27-183mm KB). The universal 6.7x Zoom can be used for a variety of different shooting situations, from landscapes to snapshots to portraits. The consistently high aperture of F4 enables an attractive bokeh effect with soft background blur. Up to 0.2x magnification is achieved for close-ups, allowing impressive shots of flowers and other plants. The Power Zoom lens is especially interesting for those who frequently shoot and film with their FUJIFILM camera. It is not only suitable for video recordings because of the power Zoom, but also because the image section does not shift when focusing and there is no unwanted shift in focus when Zooming. These are two characteristics that are otherwise only fulfilled by the television and cine lenses developed by FUJINON specifically for film shooting.
Universal Zoom Range for Photo and Video The optical construction of the XF18-120mmF4 includes 15 lens elements in 12 groups. The compact lens offers a 6.7x Zoom and a consistent F4 speed. Excellent imaging performance is provided by three aspherical lenses and three ED elements, which effectively minimize optical sharpness and chromatic aberration as well as distortion. This makes the lens an ideal choice not only for detailed landscape photography, but also for expressive close-ups and portraits. The focus lens has been positioned within the optical system to effectively minimize focus breathing: Advanced optical technologies originally developed by FUJINON for motion picture lenses ensure stable framing when focusing. The result is moving images of superior quality. The aspherical lens enables close-up shooting with up to 0.2x magnification. The shortest focusing distance is only 46 cm from the front lens over the entire focal length range. In the telephoto range up to 120 mm (equivalent to 183 mm KB), format-filling shots are thus possible. The compact lens barrel makes it possible to approach even small and shy subjects (e.g. insects and butterflies) inconspicuously.
Fast and accurate autofocus
TheXF18-120mmF4 has a fast autofocus that precisely focuses on the subject in just 0.02 seconds. The AF system is based on internal focusing, which uses a quiet linear motor to move the compact and lightweight focus group into the required position at lightning speed. When used with the new FUJIFILM X-H2S, the lens offers advanced tracking AF performance. It is compatible with the camera's high-speed focus mechanism, which enables very natural-looking AF tracking for dynamic subjects - in both still and video shooting.
Dedicated video functions
Theaperture setting has been optimized to avoid unwanted false exposures and brightness jumps during video recording. As the subject's illumination changes, the aperture is adjusted smoothly and evenly. With the help of the Power Zoom, which is activated via the "Zoom button" on the lens, even film novices can achieve smooth and professional-looking Zoom shots. The lens features a universal Zoom focus ring that allows changing the focal length or focusing at different speeds. When shooting movies, the pace of Zoom travel or focus shift can be precisely controlled, allowing for new creative expressions. When used in conjunction with the new flagship model of the X series, the FUJIFILM X-H2S, and the optional FT-XH transmitter, the lens also enables remote video recording. The lens and the camera connected to it can be controlled via an Internet-based browser application. In this way, even small teams can realize sophisticated productions with multiple cameras.
Compact and lightweight body
The use of aspherical lenses, ED elements and other special optical glass makes the XF18-120mmF4 a handy and lightweight Zoom lens that is ideal for mobile video shoots. It weighs only 460 grams and is just 123.5 mm long with a filter size of 72 mm. The lens barrel does not extend when Zooming, so the lens is always perfectly balanced. The smooth-running power Zoom mechanism is driven by a linear stepper motor that guides the image section from wide-angle to telephoto in an absolutely straight line without the usual tube rotation and without deviating from the optical axis.
Splash and dust proof
The weatherproof housing has 13 seals that ensure that neither dust nor moisture penetrates inside and that the lens remains fully functional even in cold conditions down to minus 10 degrees Celsius. This means you can shoot with confidence even in inclement weather or dusty environments.
