Fujifilm X-T5
The FUJIFILM X-T5 offers photographers a perfect total package: It features fifth-generation imaging technology - the rear-illuminated 40.2-megapixel X-Trans*1 CMOS 5 HR sensor and fast X-Processor 5 - and offers built-in five-axis image stabilization over up to seven stops (EV)*2. Despite its tremendous performance, it is smaller and also lighter than its predecessor, weighing just 557 grams.*3
Like previous models in the X-T line, the X-T5 features a center-mounted electronic viewfinder and several large command dials. Inside, it offers a host of technical innovations, including a standard sensitivity of ISO 125, a fastest shutter speed of 1/180,000 sec, the "Pixel Shift Multi-Shot" function, and Subject Detection AF based on Deep Learning technology that identifies and tracks various subjects (such as animals or vehicles).
Videos are recorded by the X-T5 in up to 6.2K/30p quality. The high-resolution foldable touchscreen monitor and dual memory card slot round out the new camera's features.
TheX-T5 is the ideal tool for demanding photographers who travel a lot and don't want to compromise on image quality. It is as handy as it is versatile and is ideal for fast reportage and street photography as well as for high-quality landscape and portrait photography.
High-resolution X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor and X-Processor 5
TheX-T5 is equipped with a rear-exposed 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor that delivers very high resolution without distracting image noise, resulting in overall brilliant image quality
.An advanced pixel structure results in a greater amount of light on the sensor, so ISO 125 is now available as the standard sensitivity and no longer needs to be selected over the extended ISO range
.The new sensor can also be driven with extreme precision, allowing ultra-short exposure times. For example, the fastest shutter speed of the electronic shutter has been increased by 2.5 EV steps from 1/32,000 sec. to now 1/180,000 sec.
Especially when shooting in bright environments, the new sensor opens up new creative possibilities. For example, on sunny summer days or on the ski slopes, you can achieve the attractive bokeh effect with the aperture open or freeze fast movements in maximum sharpness with ultra-short shutter speeds.
Innovative photo features
With the "Pixel Shift Multi-Shot" function, the camera takes 20 high-resolution images in succession in raw data format, with the image sensor being shifted minimally after each exposure. The resulting individual photos can be combined into a single image file with a resolution of 160 megapixels using the free "Pixel Shift Combiner" software. This function is particularly interesting for photographic documentation and digitization in the fields of art and culture, as well as for high-quality still life and product shots.
The camera has the "Skin Effect Soft" function for a particularly attractive reproduction of skin tones. Post-processing time for portrait shots is significantly reduced, so high-quality image results are available faster than ever.
TheX-T5 is equipped with automatic white balance based on Deep Learning technology. The camera more accurately detects different light sources (such as incandescent lamps) and adjusts the white balance accordingly.
The X-T5 offers 19 film simulations, including "Nostalgic Negative" for high color saturation and smooth tonal gradations. It supports the HEIF image format, which delivers 10-bit image files that are up to 30 percent smaller than standard JPEG files. With the inclusion of this feature, FUJIFILM underscores its reputation for delivering the very highest quality images directly from X Series cameras.
Built-in image stabilizer and intelligent autofocus
In-camera five-axis image stabilization (IBIS) compensates for camera movement over up to seven stops (EV)*2. Even at night, at dusk, or in other low-light situations, freehand shooting is possible. The IBIS mechanism also enables the "Pixel Shift Multi-Shot" function via high-precision shifting of the image sensor.
TheX-T5 is equipped with an innovative autofocus system that allows the person taking the picture to concentrate fully on the subject and composition. She can trust the camera to focus reliably and precisely on the subject. For example, the X-T5's autofocus system offers object-oriented subject recognition based on artificial intelligence. Developed using Deep Learning technology, the algorithm not only detects and tracks people's faces and eyes, but also reliably keeps animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes and trains in focus.
The 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR has more phase-detection pixels than previous X-series image sensors, resulting in even more precise focusing in AF-S mode, for example in landscape or portrait photography. A new AF algorithm for predicting object movement enables even more reliable focus tracking in continuous focus (AF-C).
Convenient operation
On the top of the X-T5, there are three dials for shutter speed, ISO sensitivity and exposure compensation. Like the aperture ring on many XF lenses, they allow you to control key exposure parameters even when the camera is off. The X-T5 thus becomes the ideal tool for transferring one's creative intuition directly into the image production process.
The new LCD monitor offers a resolution of 1.84 million pixels and can be swiveled in three directions. When shooting from the hip or overhead, for example, the display remains in the optical axis and is always easy to read, allowing comfortable and unrestricted work even in demanding shooting situations.
The X-T5's electronic viewfinder offers a high-resolution viewfinder image with 3.69 million pixels and 0.8x magnification. The display is optimally corrected and free of parallax errors and distortion that otherwise often appear with changes in eye position.
The advancement of the IBIS mechanism, electronic viewfinder and other components allows for a compact and lightweight design. Despite its performance, the camera weighs just 557 grams*4. In addition, handling has been optimized and the operability of the dials and buttons has been improved. The weatherproof housing can be used without hesitation even in humid and dirty environments.
Advanced video functions
The X-T5 records video in 6.2K/30p 4:2:2 10-bit format. In 4K HQ mode, the camera draws on the detail of the 6.2K data during internal oversampling to generate a 4K image of superior quality. The X-T5 supports F-Log2, which provides an expanded dynamic range of more than 13 stops, offering further creative potential in video editing.
In combination with a compatible Atomos external HDMI recorder, 12-bit RAW video files can also be recorded and saved as Apple ProRes RAW*5 in 6.2K and at frame rates up to 29.97 frames per second. When used with Blackmagic Design Video Assist 12G Series monitor recorders, raw video can be saved as Blackmagic RAW in up to 6.2K quality and 29.97 frames per second.

Fujifilm XF18-55mm f2.8-4 R LM OIS
This versatile Zoomlens has a maximum aperture of F2.8, built-in image stabilization, and a flexible focal length range from 27mm to a slight telephoto of 84mm (analog 35mm). It is very portable thanks to its compactness, and the fast autofocus driven by linear servo motors allows comfortable shooting even in difficult and demanding situations.
Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR
The Fujinon XF50-140mm covers a focal length range of 76-213mm (equivalent to KB), making it ideal for first-class shots of wildlife, children playing, or portraits. The new XF telephoto Zoom lens delivers excellent and sharp images throughout the Zoom range, with high resolution from the center of the frame to the edges.
To achieve the highest possible sharpness and maximum contrast, only high-quality glass is used in the Fujinon XF50-140mm. The lens consists of 23 elements in 16 groups including five ED lenses and one Super ED lens. Fujinon's proprietary HT-EBC coating and Nano GI coating also minimize surface reflections.
Due to the continuous aperture of F2.8, the Fujinon XF50-140mm can be used even in difficult lighting situations and when shooting freehand. In addition, the lens' effective image stabilization gains up to five stops to compensate for camera movement and prevent blurry shots.
The high-precision gyro sensor in the lens uses quartz oscillators to accurately detect motion from the high to low frequency range. An algorithm has also been developed to correct for temperature-dependent signal shifts in the gyro sensor. The correction performance has been doubled at slow shutter speeds. This makes it possible to take pictures without a tripod without any problems.
Theminimum shooting distance to the subject is 1 meter over the entire Zoom range
.Very fast autofocus
The Fujinon XF50-140mm features an internal focusing system that uses a lightweight focus lens and a triple linear motor. When the new Fujinon XF lens is combined with an X-series system camera* that has phase autofocus, very fast autofocus is achieved.
The triple linear motor technology, which directly moves the focus lens, is very quiet and ensures low operating noise
.Weatherproof
The lens is sealed, making it both splash and dust resistant. It is also cold-resistant down to a temperature of minus ten degrees. This makes the lens an excellent combination with the Fujifilm X-T1, which is also weather and dust protected.
