Compact performance
Lightweight and easy to carry around, the X1D II 50C offers medium-format performance in a more compact size than is common with most 35mm full-frame cameras. Each camera's 50-megapixel CMOS sensor is individually calibrated for optimal performance. At 43.8 x 32.9 mm, it offers exceptional color depth and a dynamic range of 14 stops. The built-in Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS) delivers superior, natural color tones that match visual human perception. Based on the award-winning design of the first generation, the Hasselblad X1D II 50C continues the concept of the ideal combination of form and function. It offers Hasselblad's traditionally outstanding image quality, providing RAW shooting with 16-bit color depth and full-resolution JPEG files in a compact and lightweight body design.

Intuitive User Experience
The brilliant, 3.6-inch, 2.36 million-dot touchscreen and a 3.69-dot OLED EVF provide higher resolution for better post-shot evaluation. With a magnification factor of 0.87, you can see even more with the now even larger EVF in the X1D II 50C. In addition, the system menu can also be accessed when using the EVF, which is especially beneficial in bright sunlight.

Furthermore, the touchscreen allows moving the automatic focus with just one finger and easily adjusting the focus area with two fingers. With, compared to its predecessor, nearly halved start-up time, higher Live View refresh rate at 60 fps, low shutter lag and shortened wait times between individual shots, the camera offers even smoother operation.

Improved Electronics
The improved electronic platform in the X1D II 50C makes for an even more responsive camera system, with faster preview viewing and quicker shot evaluation. In addition, the higher frame rate of 60 frames per second provides an even smoother live view display - both on the touchscreen and in the EVF. The higher resolution (1024x768) of the touchscreen renders shots clearly and faithfully. With the X1D II 50C, full-resolution shots can now be generated in-camera as high-quality JPEG files - with the color fidelity familiar from Hasselblad. Dual SD card slots with extra-fast UHS-II bus ensure ample available storage and can alternatively be used to create a backup copy directly when shooting.

Best connected
Built-in Wi-Fi and USB-C simplify mobile workflows with wireless or tethered image transfer capability and tethered shooting via Phocus Mobile 2. Tethered shooting is also possible via Phocus desktop software for macOS and Windows. The built-in GPS module allows captures to be directly tagged with the capture location if desired.

For even more options when working with a Hasselblad, Phocus Mobile 2 takes the imaging process to a better, more mobile level. With connectivity via USB-C and Wi-Fi, Phocus Mobile 2 works on iPad Pro and current iPad Air tablets - giving even the most well-traveled photographers a fast, efficient and always-available mobile workflow with them. With the app, users can import and edit RAW shots or transfer and directly rate full-quality JPEG shots.

addition, full-quality images can be exported, the camera can be controlled from the tablet, and tethered shooting can be performed.

Designed for professional photographers
Based on the award-winning design of the first generation, Hasselblad continues its design concept with the X1D II 50C, combining form and function for ideal handling. The most important buttons and dials are located on the outer sides of the camera for a clearly structured body design, while all other settings are easily accessible via the touchscreen. The USB-C port and the two SD card slots are protected from the weather by two robust flaps. Due to the location of the shutter in the lens, the weight of the X1D II 50C has been reduced and made much more compact overall.

The battery is firmly seated in the bay with just a click, and removal is a simple operation of the release lever followed by a gentle push in of the battery. Premium Lenses from 21 to 500mm
With the X1D II 50C, photographers have access to the full range of Hasselblad lenses for medium format. This includes 9 XCD lenses, 12 HC/HCD lenses (and the H 1.7X converter) with the XH adapter, and other H system accessories.Furthermore, XPan lenses can be used via the XPan adapter and V system lenses via the XV adapter. All XCD and HC/HCD lenses feature a leaf shutter for unrestricted flash sync up to 1/2000 sec for all X-System lenses.
