With a back-illuminated (BSI) 100 MP medium format CMOS sensor with a native ISO of 64, the X2D 100C captures the world in vivid color and exquisite detail. Over 281 trillion colors are displayed with 16-bit color depth. This immense color dimension paired with a dynamic range of 15 stops allows the X2D 100C to capture the subtle nuances of highlights and shadows as they would be seen in nature.

High-quality images require a lot of storage space. The X2D 100C is a first for medium format cameras and features an integrated 1 TB SSD with a write speed of up to 2,370 MB/s, and a read speed of up to 2,850 MB/s.

Phase Detection Autofocus

The X2D 100C uses Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) to capture fleeting moments with breathtaking clarity. 294 PDAF zones spread across the 100 MP sensor surface ensure fast and precise focusing at the touch of a button.

3.6" tiltable touchscreen

The 3.6" touch display shows a clear image even in bright light and can be tilted at graduated angles for different shooting requirements. It supports a resolution of 2.36 million pixels and ensures accurate, true-to-life colors.

XCD 2.5/55V

The XCD 2.5/55V lens has nine elements in eight groups, including three aspherical elements. This standard lens corresponds to a full-frame focal length of 43 mm. It offers first-class optical performance in a compact design and supports an image resolution of over 100 MP. Thanks to the large aperture of f/2.5, it is ideal for a variety of scenarios
both indoors and outdoors. The XCD 2.5/55V is equipped with an improved central shutter that achieves a shutter speed of up to 1/2000 sec. It offers flash synchronization at all speeds. The shutter is fast and quiet and is complemented by the newly developed focus module, which enables fast and precise focusing. The XCD 2.5/55V lens has both a focus ring and a lens control ring. Switching between AF and MF is done by simply pressing and pulling the focusing ring. In MF mode, you can easily read the focus distance and depth of field. The control ring can be customized to give you quick access to your preferred functions.
