Nikon Z f Housing
The Nikon Z f is equipped with the advanced EXPEED 7 image processing engine, just like the highly acclaimed Nikon Z 9. This enables first-class photo and film recordings. It combines style and substance and impresses with leading technology, including outstanding autofocus and image stabilization functions. The result is a camera that is ideal for anyone who wants to realize their creative vision in outstanding quality.
The design of the Nikon Z f pays homage to the legendary FM2 and incorporates elements such as the characteristic dials, the shutter release and the classic Nikon logo from the 1970s. All dials are carefully crafted from high-quality brass and integrated into a robust magnesium alloy body, giving the camera an unrivaled premium look and feel.
Expanded image printing options thanks to new functions
In addition to the traditional monochrome Picture Control setting, the Z f now offers two innovative Picture Controls: "Neutral; Monochrome" and "Deep Tone; Monochrome". A dedicated black and white option has been added to the photo/video selector under the acronym "B&W" to allow seamless switching between shooting modes.
The camera also boasts an impressive range of inspiring functions and features, including Creative Picture Control and the ability to shoot with pixel shift - an innovation that the Z f is the first Nikon system camera to support. It is also the world's first camera* to feature Focus Area VR, which effectively suppresses blurring around the focus area to guarantee first-class results.
Optimized video performance for diverse requirements
The brand new camera has an extensive range of video functions. These include direct in-camera recording of 10-bit H.265 video and the impressive ability to record up to 125 minutes of continuous 4K UHD video, without interruption. There are also some outstanding features carried over from the Z 9, such as the ability to precisely adjust ISO sensitivity in 1/6 EV increments and the useful red frame display during video shoots.
Outstanding performance thanks to state-of-the-art technology
The Z f camera is powered by the advanced EXPEED 7 image processing engine, which, among other things, enables remarkable ISO sensitivity. In addition, the Z f has also been given the capabilities of the Z 8 camera to reliably recognize nine different subject types and enhance subject recognition and tracking performance. The camera is also supported by a highly effective internal image stabilizer and digital VR, both of which significantly enhance the quality of shots in dimly lit or dark indoor environments.
Mechanical brass control dials
By turning the camera's top dials, ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation can be set with a firm click.
Unlimited tilting and rotating monitor with touch FN
Shoot from any angle and assign button controls to nine customizable areas with the touch function call.
Full-frame sensor with 24.5 MP EXPEED 7
Get flawless results even at high native ISO sensitivities of up to 64,000 for photos and 51,200 for movies.
Extremely powerful image stabilizer
The highly effective in-camera image stabilization and the new, innovative focus area VR work together to achieve powerful image stabilization of 8.0 f-stops in the active AF area. *1,*2
Outstanding focus range
Capture any subject with 299 automatic point control points or 77 custom large point patterns for stills (and 66 for movies). Deep Learning AF supports precise subject detection and tracking.
Scene recognition even with manual focus
When shooting with manual focus, the Z f recognizes the subject and automatically adjusts the focus point accordingly.
Breathtaking detail shots with pixel shift
Combine up to 32 shots to create highly detailed images with extremely high resolution and spectacular color reproduction*3
PRE-Release Capture
Be surprised by the moments you didn't even see. The Z f captures for up to one second before the shutter button is fully pressed.*4

Robust and durable
Powerful sealing against the elements. Cold-resistant down to 0° C.
- The first Nikon camera to support movie shooting with aperture priority. In this mode, users select the exposure time and the camera sets the aperture.
- 3D tracking (only in photo mode) and subject tracking (only in movie mode) have been added to the AF point preset options.
- The autofocus pixels, which are decoupled from the creation of images, can capture subjects excellently even in critical lighting, so that the desired subject is perfectly focused even if it is backlit or the scene is dimly lit or dark.
- The detection range and the number of focus points in the automatic focus area control have been significantly increased to improve focusing performance on distant or moving subjects.
- The options for the custom AF point preset mode have been adopted from the professional models and expanded to improve effectiveness in scenes with complex subject positions.
- The EXPEED 7 image processing engine reduces noise in flat areas of the subject and enhances image quality.
- The first full-frame mirrorless camera in the Z series to be equipped with a tilting and rotating monitor.
- Rotating the setting parameters horizontally when shooting in portrait format improves their legibility and enables efficient shooting in portrait format.
- The first camera in the Z series to support a Touch-Fn function assignment and its call-up for adjusting camera settings without having to take your eye off the viewfinder.
- The high processing capacity of the EXPEED 7 image processor enables the "Fast Composite+ (C30)" function, which enables fast continuous shooting at up to 30 fps.
- The Z f is equipped with the Pre-Release Capture function; images can be buffered up to one second before the shutter button is fully pressed.
- Features the Skin Smooth and Balanced Portrait functions for better portraits.
- Features the Picture Control configuration "Portrait with high tonal range" to better reproduce the skin tone of the subject.

Nikon Nikkor Z 14-30mm f4.0 S
Impressive photos and movies
Extreme perspectives. Touching portraits in reportage style. Thanks to the Nikon Z bayonet with a large diameter, this lens directs more light into every corner of the image field. The combination of ultra-wide angle of view and compact design make this lens the ideal companion - even when traveling. With this lens, you can take brilliant and varied landscape and city shots.
Filter thread
The world's first ultra-wide-angle lens for full-frame cameras that accepts 82mm filters without a bulky filter holder. Fantastic for photos. Even better for videos.
Always sharp
Advanced optics. Faster communication between lens and camera. You benefit from outstanding sharpness and minimal distortion across the entire Zoom range.
Architecture and interior shots
Guiding lines. Unusual angles. Subjects can be captured with ease even in narrow spaces and streets. With its close focusing distance of just 0.28 m across all focal lengths, you have maximum freedom over your image composition - from close-ups to infinity.
Perfect for movies
Take pictures in sunny conditions as easily as in dimly lit rooms. The multi-focusing system and the continuous speed of 1:4 of this lens offer outstanding imaging performance in low light and consistent exposure over the entire Zoom range.
Brilliant images right into the corners
Thanks to the exceptional resolution of this Zoom lens, all elements of the subject are reproduced in true detail. The reduction of light fall-off towards the edge of the image creates balanced brightness across the entire image field. Enjoy sharpness, vivid colors and very good contrast right into the corners of the picture.
Sharp - Quiet - Precise
The multi-focusing system of the NIKKOR-Z system with several AF motors stands for extremely fast focus acquisition - and reliable focus tracking. Focusing is smooth and quiet, making the lens ideal for both movies and photos.
Image stabilizer (VR)
This lens uses the image stabilizer in the camera for sharp images - with exposure times that are up to five stops longer than would otherwise be possible. This results in clearer photos and movies even in fading daylight - without blurring.
Compact, robust, lightweight
Thanks to the lens retraction mechanism, this ultra-wide-angle Zoom lens for full-frame cameras takes up very little space in the camera bag. All moving parts of the lens barrel have seals that protect against dust and splash water. The fluorine coating prevents the adhesion of water, dust and dirt - without any impairment of the imaging performance.
