Tamron 35-150mm f2.0-2.8 Di III VXD Nikon Z
The 35-150mm F2-2.8 lens covers the commonly used focal length range from classic wide-angle to longer telephoto, and is the ideal choice for both travel and portrait photography. It is the first Zoom lens from Tamron with F2.0-2.8 aperture for cameras with Nikon Z bayonet. While the 35mm focal length is particularly suitable for shooting wide panoramas and large buildings, the 150mm telephoto can also be used for dynamic close-ups
.World's first Zoom lens with F2-2.8 aperture
The 35-150mm F2-2.8 offers a maximum aperture of F2 at an initial focal length of 35mm, which is wider than conventional fast Zoom lenses whose maximum aperture is F2.8. In the wide-angle range, the 35-150mm F2-2.8 thus enables a more pronounced, more attractive bokeh effect. The high speed of F2 also allows the selection of faster shutter speeds and low ISO settings to prevent blur and noise
.Versatile focal length range from 35mm wide-angle to 150mm telephoto
The universal Zoomrange of the 35-150mm F2-2.8 is ideal for travel and portrait photography. The range between 35mm and 50mm is particularly suitable for landscape and street photography, while 85mm as a light telephoto focal length is optimal for portraits and close-ups. At 150 mm, even distant objects can be brought into the picture in a big way. The convenient Zoomring allows quick focal length changes between wide-angle and telephoto without having to remove the camera from your eye or interrupt shooting
.Outstanding imaging performance throughout the Zoom range
The optical construction of the 35-150mm F2-2.8 incorporates four LD (Low Dispersion) and three GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lens elements, ensuring excellent image quality across the entire focal length range. Even in conjunction with ultra-high-resolution camera sensors, consistently high imaging performance is achieved from the optical center to the edge of the image. This is complemented by a harmonious bokeh effect that can only be achieved with very large apertures. The universal focal length range enables a wide range of creative expression and combines six classic fixed focal lengths in one lens 35 mm, 50 mm (normal or standard focal length), 85 mm (medium telephoto, "portrait lens"), 100 mm, 135 mm and 150 mm (telephoto) as well as all focal lengths in between
.Fast and silent VXD autofocus for precise focusing
The35-150mm F2-2.8's VXD autofocus is based on a powerful linear motor that focuses on the selected image area with the utmost precision, even at large apertures and regardless of shooting distance. Even when tracking moving subjects, the responsive VXD technology ensures reliable focus tracking. In addition, because the AF motor is virtually silent, the 35-150mm F2.-2.8 is the ideal choice for photo and video shooting in situations where silence is required
.Short close-up distance for versatile use
The 35-150mm F2-2.8's minimum focusing distance allows full concentration on the subject without worrying about shooting distance. At 35mm position, the shortest focusing distance is only 0.33m and a maximum magnification of 1:5.7 is achieved. This enables image compositions with an expressive depth effect, as the large aperture of F2 blurs the background into an attractive blur even in wide-angle shots, while details of the main subject are razor-sharp
.Compatible with TAMRON Lens UtilityTM for advanced photo and video functions
The 35-150mm F2-2.8 is compatible with TAMRON Lens Utility, which can be used to expand photographic expression. Among other things, the TAMRON-developed software allows users to update lens firmware off-camera, as well as use various focus functions for technically advanced photo and video capture.
For example, with A-B focus, users can limit focus to two preset focus points and shift focus from one area of the frame to another using the focus button on the lens. Also, in manual focus (MF) mode, the user can choose between linear and non-linear focus, which affects the way the focus shifts during
focusing.
