The camera automatically recognizes nine different subjects and accurately tracks even fast, unexpected movements. The Z50II's electronic viewfinder (EVF) is the brightest in its class *1 and enhances the fun of shooting. Designed with practicality in mind, this bright EVF provides a clear, detailed view even in bright sunlight, dark environments or changing light conditions.
Among the creative features that make this camera particularly attractive to content creators are the easy-to-use Picture Control settings. This allows photos and videos to be designed directly in the camera. Users also have free access to the Nikon Imaging Cloud, where exclusive image styles and color presets can be downloaded directly to the camera. A special button on the Nikon Z50II allows direct access to the Picture Control settings: Effects are visible in real time, and switching between different presets while shooting is effortless
. For video, the Z50II is the first Nikon Z camera to offer a special mode for product presentations - ideal for vlogging, as the focus changes smoothly to objects shown in the foreground. This camera is also the first Z camera with a video self-timer that allows a delay before recording begins. Vloggers and video streamers also only need one cable to connect the Z50II directly to a smart device and stream live on the platform of their choice.
