The partially stacked full-frame CMOS sensor is supported by the same EXPEED 7 processor as the professional models Nikon Z8 and Nikon This powerful duo enables extremely fast AF calculations and high refresh rates of the electronic viewfinder. Photographers benefit from an even, smooth viewfinder image and can shoot up to 120 frames per second without worrying about rolling shutter distortion. Videographers can capture pristine 6K (RAW) and 5.4K (YUV) footage directly from the camera or create detailed 4K UHD video with 6K oversampling directly in-camera. In addition, both photographers and videographers benefit from Nikon's intelligent subject perception, which enables particularly powerful eye tracking in the modes for people and animals. Thanks to the sensor's wide ISO range and AF sensitivity down to -10 EV (3), you can also shoot at night.

The large focal length range of 180 - 600 mm covers the most common focal lengths for wildlife, bird and aircraft photography and offers plenty of flexibility for sports and landscape photography. Thanks to the close focusing distance of just 2.4 m at 600 mm and 1.3 m at 180 mm, you can also achieve sharp images at close range.

No matter what subject you want to photograph: With the low weight (approx. 1955 g) of this full-frame super tele-Zoom lens, even more shots and locations come within reach. You'll travel lighter than expected, and the internal Zoom allows for balanced handheld shooting: Zoom in or out, and pan or tilt, all without a tripod. Pinpoint autofocus

Autofocus is optimized for capturing fast-moving subjects such as birds, wildlife, sports and aircraft - whether you're shooting stills or video. The high-speed stepping motor (STM) is extremely quiet during focusing and movie recording. This is particularly suitable for photographing shy wild animals. Subject tracking is possible in conjunction with mirrorless Nikon Z cameras, which have animal or vehicle subject recognition, is very reliable.

Powerful in-lens image stabilization
