The 28-75mm F2.8 G2 has a close focusing distance of 0.18m. The distance to the subject is reduced to only approx. 4.4 cm when the close-up focusing distance is fully utilized. The maximum magnification of 1:2.7 makes it possible to get very close to the subject, as in macro photography, which creates a strong visual effect as the subject is positioned large in the image while the background remains widely visible.

The Tamron Lens Utility™ expands the possibilities of photo and video shooting

The 28-75mm F2.8 G2 is compatible with the Tamron Lens Utility software specially developed by Tamron, which allows the user to easily update the lens to the latest firmware without having to use the camera.
