LAOWA 7.5mm f2 for MFT silver
The impressive wide-angle lens with a speed of f/2.0 is suitable for MFT cameras. It is very fast and enables extreme wide-angle shots, equivalent to a 15mm wide-angle lens on 35mm cameras. In addition to these optical data, special emphasis was placed on an ultra-compact design and a very low weight. The lens weighs just approx. 170g and is extremely small for a high-speed super wide-angle lens with a length of 55mm and a diameter of 50mm.
The optical construction consists of 13 elements in 9 groups with 2 aspherical elements and 3 extra-low refractive elements. This reduces distortion and chromatic aberration to a minimum and at the same time enables outstanding optical performance from image corner to image corner. The extreme angle of view of 110° and the extremely high speed of f/2.0 enable impressive photos even in low light, e.g. landscape shots at dusk, interior shots or astrophotos.
The focus and aperture are set manually. The filter thread of 46mm allows the use of small filters even with this angle of view.
