Panasonic DC-S5 II X
Withits exclusive black design and outstanding video functions, the LUMIX S5M2X is the perfect camera for the modern photo/video creator who has the highest demands on both photo and video. And thanks to its compact, robust housing and built-in fan, it is a reliable companion even in the most extreme situations and is always ready to shoot.
The S5M2X is based on a newly developed full-frame CMOS sensor with 24 megapixels and an equally new image processor, which was developed as part of the L² technology partnership between LEICA and LUMIX. The new Hybrid Phase Detection AF ensures fast and precise focusing
,and thanks to the new processor, the S5M2X sets new standards for video in its price class
. For example,it offers 4K60p 4:2:2 10-bit, Apple ProRes, ALL-Intra, USB-SSD recording or advanced streaming functions.
USB-SSD recording
USB-SSD recording is for photographers and videographers who want to improve the efficiency of data backup and post-production
- Better heat resistance than internal recording
- Cheaper than SD memory cards
- Can record in high bit rate recording mode
Wireless streaming USB tethering
Live streaming can be easily configured via the LUMIX Sync app (Android / iOS). In environments with a lot of radio interference, stable communication speed can be ensured by connecting the camera to a smartphone via USB.
Wired Streaming
Enjoy highly stable communication with IP streaming via a wired LAN connection indoors. By connecting cameras and PCs via a wired LAN cable, multiple cameras can be controlled for the delivery of high quality video and audio up to 4K 60p / 50p. H.264 and H.265 codecs are selectable
New video functions
- 4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K 60p/50p Unlimited recording time
- 6K (3:2), 6K (17:9), 5.9K (16:9) 4:2:0 10-bit 30p/25p/24p

Live View composition
For photographers working with light in dark environments, e.g. starry skies. Only the illuminated subjects are captured, e.g. to show the light trails of stars and fireworks
Panasonic Lumix S Pro 70-300mm f4.5-5.6 O.I.S
Thedual stabilization system (Dual I.S.) of this telephoto zoom also combines the O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) of the lens with the stabilizer in the cameras of the LUMIX S series and thus compensates for camera shake, enabling a shutter speed that is 5.5 f-stops slower. The focus control with a maximum 480 fps high-speed sensor drive realizes fast, high-precision autofocus.
With an outstanding minimum focusing distance of 0.54m or 0.74m, the LUMIX S 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 MACRO O.I.S. achieves a maximum magnification of 0.5x (at 300mm) and thus enables macro photography and videos at half life size. The rounded aperture with its 11 blades ensures a particularly attractive bokeh over the entire Zoom range
, yet the LUMIX S 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 MACRO O.I.S. is compact and lightweight for convenient mobility. The robust, dust and splash-proof construction also withstands use in harsh conditions, even at -10° C. The fluorine coating on the front element is also water and oil repellent. The filter diameter is 77 mm.
Theoptimum arrangement of 17 lens elements in 11 groups with one UED lens (Ultra Extra-low Dispersion), two ED lenses (Extra-low Dispersion) and one UHR lens (Ultra-High Refractive Index) effectively suppresses both axial chromatic aberration at the telephoto end and chromatic aberration at the magnification end at shorter focal lengths. The UHR lens in particular achieves uniform image quality from the center to the edges of the image while contributing to the compact size of the lens.
All LUMIX S-series lenses feature a mechanism that minimizes "focus breathing" for videographers when shooting video - a phenomenon that occurs when using interchangeable lenses designed primarily for still image creation
. In addition, the focus shift during Zooming is suppressed so that the subject remains in focus and better video recordings are possible
