The ISO base sensitivity has been increased to ISO 32000 (with an extended ISO sensitivity up to ISO 102400 for photo shooting). Time-lapse movies

The camera includes a newly introduced interval shooting function, which means continuous shooting with a break between 1 and 60 seconds between photo shots. This can be used to create time-lapse movies on a PC using the Viewer app, which is part of the Imaging EdgeTM desktop applications.

Practical Vlog functions

For vlog recording, the 180-degree swiveling LCD is useful for cropping the image. For audio, in addition to the jack for an external microphone, an optional XLR adapter (sold separately) can also be used, allowing the use of professional microphones for higher audio quality.

Walimex pro 12mm/2.0 APS-C for Sony E

Ideal for architecture, landscape, but also art photography
Dynamics and extensive image information can be discovered immediately when shooting with the walimex pro 12/2.0. The short focal length of 12 mm provides you with the convincingly large image angle of 99°. Two-dimensionally, the image information is almost 6x larger compared to the standard focal length. On your 35 mm camera in the past, you would have needed an 18 mm lens for this. Nothing stands in the way of expressive photography. The high luminous intensity, in turn, gives you operational reliability - at dusk, indoors, or outdoors in fog or rain, which is known to produce the most beautiful landscape moods. The close focusing distance of 20cm is helpful for dynamic image composition. Focusing and aperture adjustment are manual.

Excellent image quality due to multi-coated lens surfaces and Nano Coating
For excellent imaging performance, great emphasis was placed on optimal lens design. Two of the 12 lenses are aspherical, providing excellent correction of aberrations. In addition, one lens is made of ED glass (extra low dispersion), you will notice it by the fine color pattern. All 12 glass lenses are multi-coated, which prevents reflections and provides more light to the image. In addition, the coating brings better contrast and more brilliant color reproduction. 2 lens surfaces are nano-coated, which ensures even better beam transmission.

Small, lightweight and compact
This wide-angle lens is specially built and calculated for mirrorless system cameras. It convinces with small dimensions (72mm overall length) and despite metal construction light 235g. Available in black or silver anodized.

Using an APS-C lens on a camera with full-frame sensor
Lenses designed for cameras with an APS-C sensor can sometimes be used (mainly by using an adapter) on cameras with a full-frame sensor. However, due to the significantly smaller image circle of APS-C lenses, the edges will be black. The usable area of the image photographed with a full-frame camera is therefore the same as that of a camera with an APS-C sensor. The images must therefore be cropped in post-processing. Using APS-C lenses on full-frame cameras is therefore possible, but not recommended.
