The 70-180mm F/2.8 Di III VXD (model A056) is a fast tele-Zoom lens for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras. Its most outstanding feature is its high image quality at a consistently high open aperture of F/2.8, as well as its handy body.

With a length of just 149mm (at 70mm) and a weight of only 810g, it is the lightest and most compact lens in its class. Multiple special optical glass elements provide excellent imaging performance from the center to the edges of the frame, and

automatic focusing is achieved with Tamron's newly developed VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) autofocus.
