Two large aspherical elements and five optimally used FLD lenses, whose material has the properties of fluorite glass, keep weight and dimensions to a minimum. The high-quality lenses also ensure effective correction of longitudinal and lateral chromatic aberrations, which often impair the image quality of other ultra-wide-angle designs

the lens uses the digital correction capabilities of modern cameras to deliver impressive image quality in a compact size. The constant aperture of F2.8 over the entire Zoom range enables images with a shallow depth of field and beautiful background blur, especially for close-up subjects.
