The Alpha 7R V offers next-generation autofocus with advanced scene recognition thanks to new AI (Artificial Intelligence) based processing that incorporates Deep Learning. The cutting-edge AI processing uses detailed information to assess human postures. This greatly improves the precision of the camera's scene recognition and fully exploits the potential resolution.

With a high-precision image stabilization unit, advanced gyro sensors and optimized stabilization algorithms for stills and movies, the entire image stabilization system of the Alpha 7R V is state-of-the-art. In addition to the 8-stop compensation effect2 for stills, the new stabilization algorithm also offers precise, pixel-accurate detection and control and uses the full potential of the sensor's 61.0 megapixel resolution to bring out the finest subject details. Pixel shift multi-shot has also been further optimized for the latest camera from Sony: This function makes use of the high-precision integrated image stabilization. Several minimally shifted images are taken in quick succession, which are then combined on the computer to create a single image with outstanding resolution. Using the latest version 3.5 of the Imaging Edge Desktop computer application, the smallest movements at pixel level, such as changes in the position of the subject or the leaves on a tree, are automatically detected and corrected to create a perfectly composed image. Data corresponding to around 963.2 million pixels can be used to create composite images of around 240.8 million pixels (19,008 x 12,672 pixels) from 16 shots. The Alpha 7R V also supports precise and versatile external flash control for even more creative freedom. Even photos and videos in difficult lighting conditions are no problem: the Alpha 7R V effectively suppresses the flickering of artificial light.

The new SIGMA 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN II Art is the successor to the SIGMA 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN Art, which is known for its high optical performance, and has a further improved resolution over the entire Zoom range. It delivers the highest image quality even at open aperture and the high speed of F2.8 ensures a soft and harmonious bokeh. The lens therefore offers maximum performance in almost all shooting situations. The short closest focusing distance further expands the creative possibilities. High optical performance across the entire image and Zoom range

The

optical design of the lens comprises 6 FLD and 2 SLD glass elements. In addition, 5 aspherical lens elements are used. Aberrations are thus reliably suppressed over the entire Zoom range. Sagittal coma flares in particular are well controlled in order to achieve a consistently high resolution right up to the periphery of the image.
