This Cokin Landscape Kit is suitable for lens diameters from: 48 mm - 82 mm. Included in the kit is a gray graduated filter, which can be used to stop down part of the image by 3 stops. Two effect filters, in the colors blue and tobacco allow beautiful color effects without much post-processing.

In most cases, the contrast between the ground and the sky is extremely strong. If the subject is to be correctly exposed near the ground, the sky may eat away at it and image information is lost. If the sky is to be shown to its best advantage in order to conjure up a bit of drama in the image, the background will most likely be underexposed.

Without a gray graduated filter, photographers and filmmakers are forced to find a compromise that often ends in flat, low-contrast images. With the use of Cokin Gray graduated filters, this problem can be solved easily and quickly.

By gradually darkening, the darker parts of the image can be perfectly exposed, while the sky can be darkened by using the gray gradient filter. So no image information is lost, which will be confirmed later by photos or scenes with incredible intensity and contrast.

Color filters allow creative play with the subject. Thus, a dull environment can be given more warmth, the sky can be enhanced with additional blue, or the sunset can be additionally emphasized.

Since it is a plug-in system, the area to be darkened can be easily placed exactly where the photographer wants it or where the composition requires it. There are thus no limits to creativity.
