This B+W gray filter, which reduces the aperture by six stops, is already considered an extreme filter in pictorial photography. It turns 1/60 s into a full second exposure time without changing the aperture (and depth of field). Flowing water is rendered delicately. A tripod is required in any case.
MRC COATING nano
The MRC coating (Multi Resistant Coating) is vapor-deposited in state-of-the-art vacuum coating equipment. It proves to be extremely low-reflection and particularly scratch-resistant. Above all, however, its unique dirt- and water-repellent surface makes it easier to clean the filters. In this way, filters can also perform a protective function for the front lens of the lens.
With a filter coated with superhydrophobic material (MRC nano), a drop of water remains practically spherical. It rolls off the surface. A dirt- and water-repellent effect is at its best.
