The Black Mist 1/8 is the lightest Black Mist screw-in filter and is best suited for situations where a subtle effect is desired. It reduces the shine of highlights and creates a slight glitter effect, making the image softer and more attractive. Ideal for portrait and landscape photography,

the Black Mist 1/4 filter has a slightly stronger effect than the 1/8 filter and is suitable for shots where a slightly stronger glitter effect is desired. It also reduces the contrasts without affecting the resolution, which results in a more pleasant quality of light in the image and creates a subtle lighting mood.
