Polarizing filters are among the most important filters in analog and digital photography. Since they can be rotated in the mount; the erasing effect can be easily adjusted in the viewfinder or on the display.

B+W polarizing filters are circular polarizing filters that take into account the differently structured measuring systems of cameras. B+W Käsemann polarizing filters are provided with special pieces of polarizing film that are extremely tightly specified. They have optimum film quality, especially with regard to color neutrality and erasing power. Furthermore, the cover glasses of the cemented film are additionally ground and finely polished, giving the filter glass excellent optical quality. This does not impair the image sharpness of a high-quality shooting lens, which is particularly important for high-resolution digital cameras and aspherical telephoto lenses.
