Hoya Fusion Antistatic Next Polarizing Filter
CircularThe Hoya Fusion Antistatic Next Polarizing Filter Circular is particularly suitable for use in dirty or dusty environments. Unlike conventional filters that require frequent cleaning in such environments to avoid ruining your shots with dirt in front of the optics, the Antistatic filter requires far less maintenance. Of course, even with these filters, cleaning cannot be completely avoided, but it can be kept to a minimum. In this way, the photographer or filmmaker reduces the risk of the filter surface being scratched by the finest dust or dirt particles, which can often hardly be avoided by frequent cleaning in such environments. The hardened, antistatic surface also repels water and rain and can be easily and gently cleaned of dirt stains and fingerprints as needed.
Hoya Fusion Antistatic CIR-PL - Optimal Color Saturation and Clarity
Light is polarized to a greater or lesser extent when reflected from non-electrically conductive surfaces, i.e. almost all non-metallic surfaces, depending on the angle of incidence. The new circular polarizing filter (CIR-PL) can reduce unwanted light reflections and improve color saturation and contrast. Blue skies become more intense and clouds become more vivid without affecting the overall color balance.
Hoya Fusion Antistatic filters are made in Japan from high-quality silicates, which are carefully melted and mixed with other high-quality glass components in an elaborate procedure to produce the highest quality optical glass. The greatest possible care and precision during the manufacturing process, the highest quality materials and the best workmanship is the guarantee for the consistently high quality of Hoya filters. The 9-layer Super Multi-Coating formula responsible for the antistatic effect, which also greatly reduces or in many cases completely prevents reflections, is applied to the glass surface at the end of this elaborate production process and enables excellent light transmission. In practice, this means that the filters have virtually no effect on the color balance, contrast and clarity of an image.
The filters are supplied in a UV-protected filter box and feature a particularly flat and lightweight aluminum frame with a front filter thread. The flat frame, which consists of two parts, prevents vignetting when the filters are used on ultra-wide-angle lenses (e.g. from Tokina).
