The unmatched strength of ultra-hard nano-coating.

The most vulnerable part of filters are known to be their coatings. Daily use and wiping when cleaning the filter will wear away the coating, so it won't last forever. The filter protects against potential physical damage - but the coating should also have exceptional strength to prevent wear during routine maintenance. When the coating loses its effectiveness, image quality suffers.

But not with the ultra-hard nano coating of the HD nano Mk II! This newly developed coating is applied to the glass surface of the filter at the nano level more firmly and densely than ever before. This layers the particles with extremely high density on the glass surface, creating a coating that is difficult to remove and smooth. By applying an incredible 32 layers to both sides of the filter glass, the coating becomes an astonishing 800% more scratch resistant than conventional coatings - and can even protect against direct wiping with steel wool! The smoothness of the coating gives the filter stain resistance as well as water and oil repellency, making daily cleaning as easy and quick as possible.

With 16 layers on both sides of the filter glass, the coating is a whopping 200% harder than traditional CIR-PL filters, making it the toughest and most scratch and stain resistant coating of any manufacturer.
