B+W Filters new T-Pro filter line

Filters in the T-Pro line are narrower, lighter and have a sturdy brass mount with a new type of titanium finish and MRC nano coating.

The design of the new T-Pro filter line from B+W is adapted to the increasingly compact camera systems with an even narrower profile. The filters are suitable for all focal lengths, including wide-angle and telephoto lenses. The titanium-colored finish gives the T-Pro filter line a special touch. Manufacturing is carried out at the highest level with minimal tolerances. The base material of the filter mount is solid brass for high stability and durability. T-Pro filters have a precise glass support, and the filter is fixed flat and stress-free using the latest adhesive technology. The special functional varnish with its sliding properties makes it easier to screw the filter in and out.

The T-Pro filter line starts with the 007 Clear and 010 UV-Haze high transmission protective filters. Both are ideal for mechanical protection and can thus prevent damage to the expensive front lens. The lens is also protected from dirt such as dust, sand, water, fingerprints or scratches. The UV-Haze filter also offers a fundamental reduction of disturbing UV components and can mitigate the resulting blue cast.

T-Pro filters are equipped with the exclusive premium coating system MRC nano. This highest-quality B+W broadband coating is applied on both sides and enhances the optical imaging properties. Thus, they achieve uniform and increased transmission properties across the light spectrum with a minimum physically induced residual reflection (Ø 0.5 %). The nano all-round protection on the filter glass ensures a long filter life. Due to the increased scratch resistance, T-Pro filters are robust and easy and quick to clean thanks to their dirt, water and oil-repellent properties.
