The NiSi UV filter, like all other products, is made of high quality optical glass. For all sizes, we offer exclusive HT (or HUC, High-Ultra-Clarity) glass with very high transparency, the best on the market, exclusive to NiSi. Absorption of UV light, which can cause a blue cast in photos and videos during the day, is ensured by a special absorption treatment that quickly reduces UV light by almost 100% at wavelengths below 365 nanometers.
The HUC high light transmission glass has a visible light transmission of 99.2%, while the frame is milled from a single block.
