Fujifilm Flash EF-60 TTL
Powerful and versatile features in a compact package
This clip-on flash offers powerful performance despite its compact form factor, with the maximum guide number of 60 (ISO100-m and flash coverage setting at 200mm). It is portable yet delivers ample power, making it easy to adapt to all shooting conditions. Its head can be manually adjusted 90 degrees up or 180 degrees left or right, allowing the flash to reflect off a wall or ceiling to cast natural light and avoid harsh shadows.
The flash range is from 24 mm to 200 mm1and can beextended toabout 16 mm1 when using the built-in diffuser. It also features the Auto Zoom function, which adjusts the flash range according to the angle of view of the mounted lens. This function prevents light fall-off at the edges and insufficient overall illumination, while achieving light distribution according to the flash coverage to attenuate excess power.
The EF-60 supports TTL mode to automatically achieve optimal exposure, as well as manual mode, which allows users to manually adjust power.
It also supports FP high-speed sync, which enables flash sync at a shutter speed of 1/8000s, faster than a camera's flash sync speed. This provides greater freedom in flash photography, for example by facilitating daylight sync at wide open apertures.
Shutter release with both radio-controlled and optical wireless communication.
The EF-60 has a built-in receiver for the radio-controlled wireless communication system NAS (Nissin Air System)2 and can be used in combination with the FUJIFILM Wireless Commander EF-W1 to be triggered simultaneously or the Nissin Air10s3to trigger as a remote flash. This allows you to place this flash anywhere, even outdoors in daylight or in a location where obstacles block visibility.
The EF-60 also features optical wireless mode to support remote triggering for optical communication, using the FUJIFILM EF-X500 as the command device*4. This makes it possible to set up a stable wireless system even under conditions with a less-than-desirable wireless environment.
