The fixed focal length developed for Leica M - in a compact design and with a robust aluminum housing - has a focal length of 35mm. The lens has an optical construction of 8 elements in 7 groups for convincing results with crisp sharpness and balanced contrast right to the edge of the image.

Thanks to the f/2.0 speed, the background can be beautifully highlighted from the main subject, but also gives reserves when shooting in low light conditions or at dusk. The

closest focusing distance is 70cm. Filters with a diameter of 55mm can be screwed on. Focal length and compactness make the M 35mm f/2.0 an all-round talent for travel, street and people. A square lens hood supports the distinctive retro look - matching the Leica M. The lens is safely stowed in the included leather-look quiver.
