This affordable standard lens for full frame cameras is relatively fast with f/2.0. With 50mm focal length, it is universally applicable due to the "natural" angle of view of 46.8 degrees. The natural proportions are preserved, portraits, still lifes or landscape shots look very harmonious as a result. The

aperture can be closed continuously up to f/16, at open aperture even beyond the value specified with f/2.0 to about f/1.8. Thanks to the 9 aperture blades, a very nice bokeh results. The optical construction with 6 elements in 5 groups ensures good image quality. The shortest focusing distance is 50cm. The high-quality full metal housing is very robust and has a 52mm filter thread.
