An extension ring is a non-optical device that increases the distance between the lens and the film. This reduces the closest focusing distance and increases the magnification.
The EF 25 II extension ring increases the distance between lens and film by more than 25 mm.
The extension ring is equipped with all EF lens contacts and allows complete data transfer between camera and lens.
All exposure programs are retained, but not spot metering.
