The Fujinon "XF23mm F1.4 R" has a focal length of 23mm (35mm equivalent to KB) and is ideally suited for subjects such as landscapes or portraits. High-resolution from the center to the edges with excellent contrast, this lens delivers impressive image results. Due to the extremely powerful optics, distortion is reduced to a minimum. Digital correction is not required. With its high F1.4 aperture, the lens is excellent for low-light photography.

The "XF23mm F1.4 R" consists of eleven elements in eight groups, including an aspherical lens. It also has seven aperture blades that result in a nearly circular aperture, allowing for an excellent out-of-focus effect.

The precise focus ring, like the aperture ring, is made entirely of metal and allows for accurate and comfortable shooting with manual focus. The distance and depth-of-field scales on the lens are very useful when manually pre-focusing to capture fast-moving subjects. The low closest focusing distance of 28 centimeters allows for impressive close-up shots.

With an innovative autofocus design, the Fujinon "XF23mm F1.4 R" also achieves a very fast autofocus speed. In addition, with a weight of just 300 grams and a length of only 63 mm, the XF23mm is one of the lightest and most compact lenses in its class.
