The Fujinon XF50-140mm covers a focal length range of 76-213mm (equivalent to KB) and is therefore ideal for first-class shots of animals in the wild, children playing or for portraits. The new XF telephoto Zoom lens delivers excellent and sharp images across the entire Zoom range, with high resolution from the center of the image to the edges.

To achieve the highest possible sharpness and maximum contrast, the Fujinon XF50-140mm uses only high-quality glass. The lens consists of 23 elements in 16 groups including five ED lenses and one Super ED lens. The special HT-EBC coating and Nano-GI coating developed by Fujinon also minimizes surface reflections.

Thanks to the continuous aperture of F2.8, the Fujinon XF50-140mm can also be used in difficult lighting situations and for freehand shots. In addition, the effective image stabilization of the lens gains up to five aperture stops to compensate for camera movements and avoid blurred shots.

The high-precision gyro sensor in the lens uses quartz oscillators to precisely detect movements from the high to the low frequency range. An algorithm has also been developed to correct temperature-dependent signal shifts in the gyro sensor. The correction performance has been doubled for slow shutter speeds. This makes it possible to take pictures without a tripod.

The minimum shooting distance to the subject is 1 meter over the entire Zoom range.

Very fast autofocus
The Fujinon XF50-140mm has an internal focusing system that uses a lightweight focus lens and a triple linear motor. When the new Fujinon XF lens is combined with an X-series* system camera that has phase-detect autofocus, very fast autofocus is achieved.

The triple linear motor technology, which directly moves the focus lens, is very quiet and ensures low operating noise.

Weatherproof
The lens is sealed and therefore both splash-proof and dust-proof. It is also cold-resistant down to a temperature of minus ten degrees. This makes the lens an excellent combination with the Fujifilm X-T1, which is also weather and dust resistant.

The Fujinon XF50-140mm weighs just 995 grams and is therefore significantly lighter and smaller than comparable lenses for SLR cameras.
