HASSELBLAD XCD 3.4/75P
Mastering light and shadow, unleashing brilliance
The XCD 3.4/75P has an optical structure of ten elements in ten groups, including one aspherical element and three ED elements that effectively reduce chromatic dispersion. This thoughtful design contributes to a compact form and delivers strong optical performance that meets the resolution requirements of a 100 megapixel sensor. Whether in the center or at the edges of the image, it delivers sharp, clear images and vivid, true-to-life colors. Compared to the XCD 4/28P and
XCD 4/45P lenses of the same series, the maximum aperture of the XCD 3.4/75P has been increased from f/4 to f/3.4. This enables better detail capture in low light and creates an attractive bokeh
. Diverse subjects with a unique perspective
The XCD 3.4/75P is the medium format lens with the longest focal length and widest aperture in the XCD P series*. With an equivalent focal length of 59 mm, it lies between standard and medium telephoto lenses and combines the advantages of both. It is suitable for full-length and half-length portraits, street photography and still life. The longer focal length in combination with the maximum aperture of f/3.4 provides a soft, natural bokeh for appealing portrait shots. Its performance is comparable to that of the XCD 2.8/65, a lens known for its
wide aperture.
Elegance in lightness
The XCD 3.4/75P continues the design language of the new generation of the XCD P series. The slim metal housing is accentuated by a characteristic “H” pattern around the focus ring, which emphasizes the unmistakable style of Hasselblad. Weighing just 398g and measuring only 71mm in length, it is 45% lighter and 24% shorter than the XCD 2.8/65, making it ideal for
portrait and street photography.
Beauty in focus
The XCD 3.4/75P uses a linear stepping motor and a lighter, smaller focusing lens group. This means that the focusing lens group can reach the focusing position quickly and achieve a precise stop, resulting in faster focusing. The XCD 3.4/75P has a linear stepper motor and a lighter, smaller focusing lens group.
The linear stepper motor enables more precise control of the
focusing lens group and thus improves focusing accuracy, while the lighter, smaller focusing lens group enables faster focusing. In combination with X System or V System medium format digital cameras that support PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), you will enjoy fast, quiet, precise and flexible focusing to the fullest.
Capture breathtaking moments unobtrusively
The XCD 3.4/75P has a compact central shutter module that operates with minimal vibration and noise. This allows you to take pictures in quiet environments without worrying. In addition, the central shutter offers speeds of up to 1/2000 of a second, making it easier to capture fast-moving subjects. It also supports flash sync at all speeds, so you can use the flash to darken the background and highlight the subject even in bright sunlight - giving you excellent results.
