A manual ultra-wide-angle lens, specially developed for digital SLR cameras.
Firefly is the standard version of this lens, equipped with three seals that effectively protect the focus ring and mount against dust, moisture and splash water. The non-slip focus ring with rubber grip makes it easier to adjust the lens.
The lens with a focal length of 11 mm is a full-frame distortion-free design with an angle of view of 126° (diagonal). The use of 4 lenses made of high refractive glass, 2 ED lenses and 3 aspherical lenses was necessary to reduce distortion to a minimum. With a distortion of 3.13%, this is a unique lens and one of the best in its class. During the development of this lens it was clear how important protection is and
all IRIX lenses are manufactured with the highest precision. Each lens features a construction that is protected against moisture and dust with seals. Additional seals protect the lens against splashing water. No matter where you travel, your IRIX lens is always well prepared for all conditions.
