The Irix 30 mm f1.4 Dragonfly lens is based on the 30 mm Cine model. The entire optical construction is identical in both versions - the focus here is on the vibrancy of the image. Of course, this lens has a completely different housing, but retains the optical properties of the Cine version.

Optics that guarantee sharp images

With the Irix 30 mm f1.4, a total of 13 elements in 11 groups ensure sharp details, vivid colors and an extremely low distortion of 0.95 %. What deserves special attention, however, is the softness and "cinema look" of the image it provides.

Pleasant bokeh

The lens is designed for full-frame sensors. The 11-blade diaphragm ensures a pleasant and very lively bokeh. The aperture ranges from f1.4 to f16 and the lens length does not change when focusing.

Weather-resistant construction

The best materials have been used in the construction of the Irix 30mm f1.4 Dragonfly. The housing is fitted with seals in all key areas to ensure reliable operation in all conditions.

Intelligent lens design

The Irix 30mm f1.4 has a module that allows you to control the aperture directly from the camera, making popular semi-automatic modes (PASM) and data recording in EXIF format available.

Focus confirmation system

The lens is also equipped with a focus confirmation system, where the camera indicates the correct focus setting (in the form of an icon in the viewfinder or as a sound) every time you set the correct focus - it's easy and convenient!

Reliable and accurate focusing

The focus ring has a characteristic shape and a special texture for reliable and accurate focusing. Thanks to the special relief, you can feel the position of the ring. This makes focusing even easier!

Focus lock function

The focus lock function allows you to lock the focus ring in a specific position. This is particularly useful if you want to maintain a certain distance from the photographed object (zone focusing) or if you want to focus perfectly at infinity for landscape photography or astrophotography.

Compatible with filters

The Irix 30 mm 1:1.4 uses classic 86 mm screw-in filters. The use of square filters is possible with the optionally available Irix Edge IFH-100 or IFH-10 Pro filter holders.
