Currently the most extreme wide-angle Zoom lens for Nikon Z cameras. It was designed specifically for travel and so Venus Optics has found a compromise between the smallest lens in its class (less than 10cm) and light weight (under 500g). The angle of view between 102° (18mm) and 130° (10mm) gives the photographer enough freedom to create landscape or architectural shots with ease.

The lens has 14 elements in 10 groups with 2 aspherical elements and one element with extra low dispersion to achieve exceptionally high-quality images. Thanks to the short closest focusing distance of only 15cm, macro shots are possible that look sharp from front to back and whose foreground is extremely emphasized. A rear filter slot accepts 37mm filters. A special magnetic filter holder accepts 100mm rectangular filters (other extreme wide angle lenses require 150mm rectangular filters). The aperture can be changed from click-stop to stepless with a switch, ideal for photo or video shooting. When shooting against the sun or a light source, a perfect 10-beam reflection results thanks to the 5 aperture blades.
