LAOWA 10-18mm f4.5-5.6 Zoom L-mount

One of the most extreme wide-angle Zoom lens for cameras with Leica L-mount. It was designed specifically for travel, so Venus Optics has found a compromise between the smallest lens in its class (less than 10cm) and light weight (under 500g). The angles of view between 102° (18mm) and 130° (10mm) give the photographer enough freedom to create landscape or architectural shots with ease.

The lens has 14 elements in 10 groups with 2 aspherical elements and one extra-low dispersion element to achieve exceptionally high-quality images. Thanks to the short closest focusing distance of only 15cm, macro shots are possible that look sharp from front to back with the foreground extremely emphasized. A rear filter slot accepts 37mm filters. An accessory magnetic filter holder accepts 100mm rectangular filters (other extreme wide angle lenses require 150mm rectangular filters). The aperture can be changed from click-stop to stepless with a switch, ideal for photo or video shooting. Shooting against the sun or a light source results in a perfect 10-beam reflection thanks to the 5 aperture blades.
