The 17mm f/1.8 impresses with its excellent sharpness, high contrast and high speed. The focal length of this moderate wide-angle lens of 17mm is equivalent to a 34mm 35mm lens, and the minimum focus distance is 15cm.

The ultra-compact metal body houses 9 lens elements in 7 groups. Together with the SuperED glass element, this gives you photos of the highest resolution. The 7 aperture blades provide a gorgeous bokeh and, when backlit, a beautiful uniform 14-beam star effect.

Thanks to the compact dimensions and the very low weight of only 172g, it is also perfect for drone photographers, for example with the DJI X5 camera. This is also supported by the premium Frog Eye coating on the front lens, which prevents water droplets and dirt from settling.

Photographers and filmmakers with the MFT system can look forward to a great tool, which shows its advantages especially in reportage and street photography, on trips as well as for still lifes. Focusing is manual, as is the aperture setting.
