The LAOWA 55mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 Tilt-Shift lens is designed for full-frame and medium-format mirrorless cameras. With a tilt function of ±10° and a shift function of ±12mm, the lens offers precise control of perspective and allows the photographer to create very accurate and creative images. Tilt and shift are mechanisms used in photography to specifically control focus and perspective

Tilt (tilt)

Changes the focal plane. This enables an increased depth of field (e.g. in landscape photography) or creative effects such as selective focus and miniature effects.

Shift

Moves the lens parallel to the sensor plane to correct converging lines (e.g. in architectural photography) or to facilitate panoramic shots.

Both mechanisms can also be combined to achieve technical corrections and/or artistic effects.

With a close focusing distance of 27cm, the lens is ideal for a wide range of applications, from product shots to complex macro studies.

The lens has three independent rotation functions. The mount rotation can be rotated 360°, locking every 15° and can be fixed in any position. On the tripod clamp, the lens can be rotated continuously through 360° and also locked in any position.
The shift unit can be rotated through 90° after releasing the lock and then locks back into place.

With a maximum aperture of f/2.8, the lens offers outstanding performance even in low light conditions. The high-performance optics comprise 14 elements in 11 groups. The result is outstanding image quality with minimal vignetting, ensuring clean and sharp images. Every detail is captured with precision and clarity.
