Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 2x Teleconverter MC-20

The new M.Zuiko Digital 2x Teleconverter MC-20 doubles the focal length of the attached lens while maintaining the same imaging performance. This makes it possible to take impressive pictures of really distant subjects. In combination with the M.Zuiko Digital ED 300 mm F4.0 IS PRO, super telephoto shots with a handheld focal length of 1200 mm are possible, as are close-up shots with an almost real size image at a maximum magnification of 0.96x (35 mm equivalent). The MC-20 is thus ideal for telemacro photography as well.

The lens design with 9 elements in 4 groups helps suppress various types of aberrations, thereby maintaining the excellent optical performance of the attached lens. The design also prevents ghosting as well as flare effects, ensuring excellent image quality. Like every M.Zuiko PRO lens and all professional OM-D bodies, the MC-20 features a dustproof, splashproof and freezeproof design that can withstand the harshest weather conditions.
