With a focal length of 12-200 mm (24-400 mm corresponding to a 35 mm camera) and the usual compact and lightweight OM System design, this lens is suitable for many shooting situations. The reliable, dustproof, splashproof and frostproof design, familiar from the M.Zuiko PRO series, ensures maximum flexibility, as the Zoom can be used in almost any weather.

Excellent optical performance, high speed and precise AF performance

In order to prevent chromatic aberrations and distortions over the entire Zoom range and to maintain the compact lens design, special attention was paid during development to the arrangement of special optics such as Super ED and aspherical lens elements. The ZERO (Zuiko Extra-Low Reflection Optical) coating reduces ghost images and backlight reflections. In addition, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-200 1:3.5-6.3 is equipped with an MSC mechanism (MSC = Movie & Still Compatible). With the integrated focusing system, only one lens is moved for focusing. The result is extremely fast and precise AF performance.
