Panasonic Lumix G 8mm f/3.5 Fisheye

This 3.5/8mm fisheye lens (equivalent to 16mm KB focal length) produces a full-frame image with a 180-degree angle of view.

The wide angle of view and the typical fisheye effect in the image create impressive creative possibilities not only for photography, but also for videos, which are thus made even more varied by unusual perspectives.

This lens design with ten lenses in nine groups is extremely compact and lightweight, as is only possible in the Micro FourThirds system. An ED lens element in it ensures consistently high optical quality with minimal chromatic aberration and distortion across the entire distance range. The internal focusing system makes it possible to shoot from a minimum distance of only 10 cm. The Lumix G-Fisheye 3.5/8mm supports the fast and precise contrast autofocus of the Lumix G system cameras. A stepper motor focuses as quickly as it does quietly in photo and video modes.

Seven aperture blades form a circular aperture for pleasing blur when shooting at wider apertures. Multi-coating of the lens elements produces high-contrast image reproduction without reflections or ghosting, and the optimally matched lens hood provides additional protection against reflections. A filter foil mount on the rear allows the use of gelatin filters. The lens is equipped with a solid metal bayonet.
