The H-FS45150 is an ultra-compact telephoto zoom lens in the Micro Four Thirds standard. The Zoomrange of the lens, which is only 7.3 cm long (front lens to bayonet) and 200g light, covers the medium to extreme telephoto range between 45 and 150mm (90-300mm equivalent KB) for impressive telephoto shots of e.g. sports or wildlife subjects. Its compact design means that it never becomes a burden in mobile, active use, despite its long focal length range.

Its construction of 12 lenses in 9 groups, including a UHR (Ultra High Refractive) element and two aspherical elements, guarantees uniformly high imaging performance across the entire image field, right into the corners, despite the very compact design. The optical image stabilizer effectively protects against camera shake when shooting freehand for longer periods.

The lens is focused automatically as well as manually via a responsive, precise and quiet internal focusing system with stepper motor drive, which is not noticeable even during video recording.

Seven aperture blades form a circular aperture that produces a pleasing blur in subject areas outside the depth of field. The multi-coating of the lens surfaces suppresses reflections as well as ghost images and thus contributes to a high-contrast overall image.
